Nestled between MacKerricher State Park to the south and Ten Mile Beach just north, this tranquil home is a place to get back to nature on California's spectacular North Coast. Here in the outskirts of Fort Bragg, you'll spend your days beachcombing, tidepooling, and taking scenic drives before falling asleep to the sounds of ocean waves.
This single-story home sits less than four miles north of downtown Fort Bragg, just inland from a beautiful, eight-mile stretch of coastline that will never be developed. It's a quiet road free of through traffic yet only half a mile to the state park and just over a mile to the Ward Avenue access point to Ten Mile Beach.
One of the special features of the house is its eco-friendly design and low carbon footprint. It's entirely electric (fueled by some of California's greenest electricity at Sonoma Clean Power), featuring a new heat pump water heater, a new heat pump for heating (via the mini-split), and a Level 2 EV charger for your car. After a day of adventure, come home to prepare a favorite meal using the new induction range, stream movies by the woodstove, or head out into the spacious yard to roast marshmallows by the chiminea fireplace.
Bonus features of the house include a private washer/dryer for all of your laundry needs, complimentary WiFi, and a desk workspace in the cabin-like bedroom.
