Inside, continue to discover special nods to the original owners of the cabin.

Comfortable and homey, the main living area consists of a family room with a gorgeous stone fireplace, a kitchen, and a dining room. The perfect spot for family movie nights, the family room is equipped with a large TV, a DVD player, and a collection of movies. Board games are also available when you'd prefer to engage in some playful competition.

The updated kitchen boasts an abundance of vintage charm, as well as custom wooden countertops and a coffee station. Down the hallway, you'll discover two renovated bedrooms and a bathroom. Grandpa's Room has a personal TV and two lovely windows with long-range mountain views, whereas Grandma's Room is flooded with natural lighting and also overlooks the mountains and the hot tub.

Through the red front door, walk out onto the back porch, featuring a picturesque outdoor dining area, a grill, and lounge chairs. Easy accessible from here, the bubbling hot tub provides a private sanctuary overlooking mountain and starry night sky views. A firepit is also available for late-night marshmallow roasting sessions.

• Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
• All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
• No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
• The Laffin Place does have WiFi and it is perfect for staying in touch via email or bragging on social media, but it isn't ideal for streaming.
• As a guest of Laffin you will have access to the entire cabin, including the laundry area and half bath that is located off the back deck. The keys for this room are on the hook by the back door.
• This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.

• 2 dogs welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval.
• Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
• Guest entry instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.
