My husband and I spent the weekend for our anniversary and absolutely loved staying in the black bear cabin. We appreciated the cleanliness, little touches and added items such as laundry pods, napkins, blankets, etc. The view of course is the ultimate highlight. While we did go out a lot, we could have easily stayed in the cabin the entire trip and would have been happy! Yes, the road is a little steep, but we had no issues in our FWD F150. Even when it was wet. And it's just 2 steep turns. We encountered No one else driving on that path. And yes, like others have said, you will have to do a turn around in the lot in front of the cabin. In the truck, we did it in 4-5 turns. Not a huge deal. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. We for sure will be back!

We enjoyed this cozy cabin very much! Everything we needed was there and the view is one of the best I’ve experienced. We enjoyed watching the stars come out while looking out at the mountains. The cabin was great, and the loft was a wonderful surprise! Pretty close to great hiking and downtown Franklin, you don’t want to miss this one. Thank you for having us…I’m sure we’ll be back!
