Eagle Crest Resort Rentals, Vacation Rentals

This place could have been perfect—honestly, the setting is breathtaking. The views from both the upper and lower balconies are truly unforgettable. You can watch the sun rise over the Deschutes River, with endless green trees, rolling hills, and distant mountain peaks all around you. It felt like being wrapped in nature, and the peace and beauty of the area made it incredibly hard to leave. The resort itself is wonderful—very clean, beautifully landscaped, and filled with amenities like multiple pools, bike and recumbent bike rentals, a golf course, and scenic paths everywhere. It smells like fresh pine and clean mountain air the moment you step outside. We especially enjoyed grilling out, relaxing with the board games provided, and soaking in the huge two-person jetted tub upstairs. Now for the part that made this hard: the interior cleanliness of the unit was really disappointing. I had multiple allergic reactions to dust and mold, and it was visibly dirty in almost all areas. I contacted the hosts several times about this, and after I expressed how serious the issue was—including the possibility of posting photos—a partial refund (a little over 25%) was finally issued. I still gave this place 5 stars because, with proper cleaning and upkeep, it would be absolutely ideal. The natural beauty, the layout of the home, and the location within the resort are truly special. I hope the owners take the feedback seriously—this place deserves to shine as much on the inside as it does outside.
