Loved staying here, the check-in process was easy. Easy access to lots of activities in Tahoe. There was enough space for 7 people. Clean, backyard, washer and dryer, and a large master bath. Will stay here again.

I read the reviews and saw some red flags but I figured maybe these people were being a little nit picky since I could be that way at times. But they had valid issues. The house is nice but there were too many instances that made my vacation with my family very annoying. When I first went upstairs I noticed a feces and wood kind of a smell and my son noticed it as well. But I thought maybe I wasn’t used to the smell in the house. All the TVs we’re disconnected. We had to search for extension cords for the tv downstairs in the room and come to find that it doesn’t do anything. It’s just a tv in a room for decoration maybe. The tv upstairs had a DVD player connected in the back and went to search for some jacks for that and some movies since it was the only option for upstairs but a lot of the movies we picked were missing the discs. Batteries weren’t working in the remotes had to search for some batteries. There was no direction on how to operate the jacuzzi. The internet cut in and out. The couch is a sectional but it’s piece by piece so if you lay down and move the couch moves with you and begins to spread out some. A lot of the dishes were chipped. The kids went swimming and used all the towels so I washed 2 loads of towels. And the first round of drying didn’t do very well so I put them in again. I went to take a shower later and figured it the towels would be dry but nope. I had to dry with hand towels. So the dryer doesn’t work. Found and old entry code card from a previous renter under my sheets which made me think they were dirty. It was an card that had only a entry code in through the garage which I read in the reviews. I also found mouse droppings in the kids toys and on the edges of the room. This is my biggest concern because of the virus that mouse dropping may contain. My children played through the toys the whole weekend we stayed. I found it on the last day of our stay. My anxiety has been so high since we returned home because the virus has no cure and is deadly if not noticed. Very negligent!!!!
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us, Marga. We sent a team out to the home to look into the concerns you presented in your comments. They did not notice any strange odors while in the home. The TVs are connected and working at this time; it is common for guests to disconnect the TVs to use their own devices, and sometimes they forget to reconnect the TVs before departing. The hot tub and dryer are both working and quite simple to use. We have found the mouse droppings and cleaned them out. We hope to see you again!
