Kamaole Beach Park III is across South Kihei Road, with the neighboring Kamaole beaches close enough to let the family follow the water conditions and their own energy. South Kihei Road brings coffee, groceries, casual dining, and shave ice into the daily mix. Drive south for Wailea's coves and coastal paths, or stay nearby for a simple beach-and-pool afternoon. For guests traveling with a dog, this part of Kihei offers a practical base where beach time, meals, and small outings do not have to become a production.

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.
