We really enjoyed our stay, location is off the beaten path which is great, the property has great beach access and our condo had a nice partial ocean view, it’s an older property but it looks like it’s recently been painted. Our condo was perfect for our large family and we would definitely stay there again!

This was our 5th trip to The Plantation and everything was great! Condo was clean upon arriving and had unexpected supplies like 4 rolls of toilet paper, dish soap and dish sponge, 2 rolls of paper towels, two things of dishwasher detergent and even 2 laundry soap packets! Small bottles of shampoo and Conditioner in each bathroom and bars of soap. Beds were comfortable enough for me and my kiddos, but my husband did struggle a bit with the bed in the master, but I did not. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Probably only small complaints would be rug in living room seemed to shed if you placed a towel or blanket on it and condo really needs a stick vacuum to quickly pick up sand rather than a broom and dust pan. The resort was busier than we have ever seen it and there were a lot of people there, but the big pool in front of the building did need cleaned really well as it was a bit cloudy and had a lot of dirt floating on top and sand on the bottom. Could have just been the amount of people in and out everyday though as again, this was our 5th trip, and never had this problem before. And last, they emptied the dumpsters a few minutes before 6 am which scared us half to death when the loud crashes woke us up! LOL! Other than that, it was a great trip and we would not hesitate to rent this unit again, or rent from Vacasa!

Decent value for a last minute stay. The entire condo complex is a little older but in pretty good shape. The resort itself is very nice with several pools, whirlpools, courts, putting greens, restaurant on site, nice boardwalk over the dunes and it’s all right on the beach. Kiva Dunes, one of the best golf courses I’ve ever seen, is within walking distance! Ice is available for purchase on site as well. Negatives...no laundry In the unit, shared pay laundry is old and expensive. The sinks did not drain properly. The fridge did not work the 1st day, however it did start intermittently working day 2. It’s not easy to get Vacasa on the phone...so good luck if you have any maintenance issues. Security closed some of the pools at 7pm...not sure why. 11pm is posted on the signs.

The fridge appears to be working well at this time and does just need a bit to cool all the warm food placed inside. Maintenance will take care of the sink drain. We loved the location of the condo and it was the perfect price for the length that we were going to be there. We are low maintenance people so the out dated condo did not bother us. We did encounter several problems with the condo, like a completely broken chair, oudoor outlet cover off (electrical danger), light dangling in the refrigerator (electrical danger-we called 3 times to get that fixed), bathroom hook riped out of the wall, there was a big piece of the wall missing in the 2nd bedroom, the master bedroom mirror looked like it was ready to come off, the master bathroom tub plug was completely pulled out, the vents looked physically dirty with dust bunnies in it, the master bathroom sink drain was not draining, the 2nd bathroom toilet didn't flush without holding it down, and my least favorite problem was the urine stains on the top bunk bed mattress. We did call about all of the items listed, but we were most concerned about the electrical dangerous ones and the broken chair. Which were fixed after several calls. I would stay here again because I know what to expect, but I am not sure too many people would put up with all of these conditions. The positives were: steps to the beach, balony looking at the ocean, 3rd floor, clean oven, all the utensils you need in the kitchen, enough beds for my family (3 kids), and my hubby and I, cable tv, strong internet connection, lovely bedding, beach storage room, 2 pools you could use (one was bigger than the other) and plenty of beach for social distancing.
Since it didn't seem like a deep cleaning had been done to the condo when we got there, we did do our own cleaning since we were there in COVID-19 time. I would love to come back with some inprovements to the condo. Thanks for having us.

The condo was clean and spacious. The second bedroom had more than enough room for our two small children. The drains in the showers were fast draining, a blessing to have at the beach! The outdoor pool was heated, which was awesome for a few chilly days we couldn’t get into the ocean. The indoor pool was great to get out of the sun and also to get out energy on a cold afternoon.
The kitchen had everything you need for cooking in the condo. The beach closet as you come in was great for beach essentials without trekking sand into the condo. Overall, perfect for our family of 4.
