Had a great trip with my two kids! The condo is super cute and family friendly. The kids had there own little alcove with a window into the living room, which they loved. It was perfect for us.
Ricardo F. January 2018
It was lovely, warm, and right in front of the slopes. The place had almost everything that was needed to make this a home away from home. Fireplace to keep the home warm was lovely.

We went there with our two boys(7and 10) to ski and they loved the place! Especially the bunkbed and the little window in the wall that was a “shortcut” from their bed to the living room:-) It is a perfect place for a family of four or even five. The owner reacted promptly to our needs- we didn’t have wifi first and couldn’t find the logs to the fireplace . He called us back and soon we had both:-) The place has nice boardgames and DVD movies. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room is spacious enough for a family. We are planning to return next year here.

This was a perfect little condo for my family to spend the weekend. The kids loved the bunk beds with the window that overlooked the living room.

Wanting to escape from the Las Vegas Heat for a few days my Wife and I decided to go to Brian head for her Birthday and a little RnR
We rented a condo through Vacasa.
The condo had a very cabinesk feel to it, it was clean decently sized for the money and had a great view from the dining room table as well as from the sweet balcony! their customer service was beyond reproach!!!

The Lone Star condo was just about perfect for our 3 night summer stay (just my wife and I) in Brian Head. The furnishings, while not fancy, are comfy and functional. The Aspens is a quiet older small complex that is nestled in a shady grove full of chipmunks and birds which we really enjoyed watching on the deck. The bunk area would be great for a younger kid or two.

Internet and cable were fine (I could not get the Sony Blue ray player to stream -.- I recommend you bring your own device for Netflix, Amazon, etc.)

You do need to walk up a couple of small flights of outdoor wooden stairs, but you end up of with a wide view of the ridge across the street even though it's a lower level unit.

Kudos to Vacasa for the "welcome bag" with extra necessities like paper towels, tissues, etc. Our second time with Vacasa and I the reservation process was very smooth with timely communication via email.

We had a wonderful time. We were very fortunate to have Deanna and Justin from VACASA help us as we settled in. They were amazing. We loved the coziness of the condo and set up of the whole condo complex. Our dog loved it too!
Janette H. March 2017
We really enjoyed our stay here. The area was quiet and very well located across from the Brianhead ski resort. It is a comfortable place for a couple or small family.
Lizzy H. February 2017
Great size condo for a couple and maybe a kid or two. Very close to lifts, we walked.
Cynthia M. January 2017
The Aspens is so convenient and this condo was perfect! Better than the pictures. Easy and short walk across parking lot to Giant Steps. Thank goodness because we got slammed with snow and car was buried. We go to Brian Head every year, and will look for this condo again!
Matthew H. January 2017
Fabulous! Had a blast and good for families.
Brandon M. August 2016
We stayed at the lone star over the weekend and it was very nice. We would stay there again.
SUSANA P. August 2016
Lovely cabin very close to great trekking trails, campgrounds and lakes.
Norman A. July 2016
a place that looks good until you open the door and discover that little has been done to keep the place up for the last 20 years. Everything is basic or old, the WIFI doesn't work, it is dark and needs much deep cleaning. The deck is basically unusable. Set in the pines with a breeze at night, it should be lovely but it isn't
Manager Response:
We are disappointed to read this guest's review and will work on improvements in cleanliness and maintenance. We refunded these guests for their troubles.
CHANRA K. July 2016
If you're looking to have a quiet place to feel like you're far away from city and modern life, this is it. Even though there are adjacent suites, as soon as you step into the front door, you'll feel like you're the only cabin in the woods.
ZEKI B. June 2016
My stay was good except for the cleanliness of the patio and the grill. I also did not like the idea of not being able to give a feedback to the property management company without writing a review.
Jeff T. May 2016
This was our second stay at the Lone star and they have made upgrades that made the stay even more enjoyable. This is a affordable and fun place to stay as well as pet friendly. We plan on making this a regular getaway spot and are satisfied with the amenities and the area is very enjoyable.
Brian W. April 2016
We will definitely be staying here again. Perfect unit for family of 4 and easy walk to Giant Steps.
Scott G. March 2016
Overall, it was ok. The location is great as it is directly across from giant steps chair lift . The bathroom and kitchen is outdated and cramped. Not bad for two people.
Randy & Veronica W. February 2016
Was very nice and clean. An amazing view of Giant Steps.
Alice P. December 2015
Do not stay at the Lone Star unit at the Aspens! Upon arrival the unit was a mess and had not been cleaned. There is dirty stained carpet throughout , even in the kitchen area. The pull out sofa mattress is awful and the couple we were with didn't sleep a wink because of it . The cleaning team arrived 45 minutes later and did a rush job . There were pubic hairs all over the bathroom floor and at least an inch of dust on the tv consol. Spider webs hanging from the ceiling and a funny mildew smell throughout the condo. Vacasa would not relocate us or even financially compensate us. We stay at Brianhead once a year and this is by far the worst experience we have ever had. Is you want a nice unit at the Aspens then I would recommend 3A as we stayed there last year and it is very clean and updated. We couldn't get it this year unfortunately so booked this awful one.
Manager Response:
Thank you for sharing your review with us. We sincerely apologize that the unit had not been cleaned prior to your arrival; we can understand what a disappointment it would be to arrive to a dirty home and then have it poorly cleaned. We have followed-up with housekeeping regarding the matter and will look further into your reservation so see what can be done to make things right. This home is great as a home-base for winter adventurers and has a nice wood fireplace guests can cozy up to!
Dennis V. December 2015
I like the place and my kids love it too.
Teresa B. December 2015
We loved this place. Right across the street from the lifts, good sized deck, clean, and comfortable furniture. Definitely would stay here again. One suggestion, there are not a lot of restaurant choices so make sure you go to the grocery before you come up the mountain (small store has basic items). Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, even a crock pot!
Jeff T. September 2015
Great experience, loved our stay, good bang for your buck, lots to do in and around the area. Very grateful that it is pet friendly our dog loved it too!!! We will be back.
Anne H. August 2015
We enjoyed the comforts of Aspen 4A and the amenities in the kitchen, etc. It was quiet with good views and had everything we needed (including movies, games and firewood) to enjoy our stay.
Carlos F. March 2015
This place was perfect! I would definitely stay here again. It was exactly as described and we were glad that we chose this Conda (4A) vs. the hotel down the street. The kids and I loved the spacious condo and were excited to see that it came with a BluRay DVD player, movies and an Xbox with games (including Minecraft on of there favorites). The condo is directly across from the ski resort and even though it is walking distance, there was a shuttle that picked us up anyway. The condo was easy to find, well furnished, had sufficient amount of necessities and worked out perfect. I would recommend this condo if you are planning a trip. The neighbors were just as great and very helpful about the restaurants in town and the local national parks. We are a family of four but could have easily had another two with us based on the space.
Manager Response:
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughtful review with us. We are so pleased to hear that this wonderful condo was a perfect fit for your family. The owner has taken great care to ensure the condo has special touches that make our guests' stays more special, such as the fun games and movies. We are glad that you felt it was in a great location for your trip and you had such a wonderful experience. We hope you'll stay again next time you visit Brian Head. Thanks for choosing Vacasa!
Jill D. February 2015
A nice little condo with easy access to the slopes! Our family had a great stay here.
Manager Response:
Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We hope to have another opportunity to serve you again in the future.
Eddie R. January 2015
The rental propertie is in a great location just across from the main lift and an easy 60 second walk to the ski resort. The view from the porch of the resort mountain is spectacular as well. I'll certainly be renting this property again.
