If you're looking for a comfortable place to enjoy an excitement-filled Central Oregon trip, this Sunriver vacation rental might be the perfect place. Featuring all the comforts of home, space for eight guests, and easy access to everything the resort community of Sunriver has to offer, everyone will have a wonderful time here!

Conveniently located in the center of Sunriver, within about a mile of the SHARC, restaurants, and the lodge and Village Mall, when you stay here you will have easy access to everything in the community. You will also be 25 minutes from downtown Bend, and just 30 minutes from skiing at Mt. Bachelor, as well as wonderful hiking, biking, and all the other opportunities Central Oregon offers.

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, this home has just enough space for eight guests. Have a seat in the living room on the cabin-style sofas, and watch some cable TV, use the DVD player, or simply sit back and turn on the fireplace to keep the home extra cozy. In the home you will also have two more TVs, as well as DVD players, WiFi access, and even a laundry room that will come in handy in case anyone's clothes get a little dirty while exploring the area.

Just past the living room, a full kitchen has just about everything you may need to whip up tasty meals during your stay. With all major appliances (even a dishwasher for easy cleanup), you will have no trouble cooking up anything from a simple breakfast of pancakes and eggs to a full Sunday roast dinner! Sit down together at the dining room table and enjoy a family-style meal together before heading out for the day.

This main level also has the master bedroom, which features a king-size bed where you will sleep soundly and rest up for another day of vacationing. This main floor also has a full bathroom. If you head upstairs, you will find two more bedrooms and another full bathroom, as well as a loft area. One of these bedrooms has a cozy queen-size bed, the other room contains a twin-over-full bunk bed, and the loft features a twin bed with a twin trundle underneath.

Outside, you will have a gas grill and a patio area, so you can cook up a tasty meal and enjoy the fresh air. Within the condo complex you have access to a seasonal shared pool, as well, which can make pool time anytime with its close proximity! In Sunriver you can access the fantastic SHARC aquatic center, which has indoor and outdoor pools, water slides, a hot tub, and outdoor sport courts and recreation areas.

Elsewhere at the resort you will have no shortage of fun activities to keep busy (some activities may require a fee). While you're here you can visit the tennis courts, book a tee time on one of the golf courses, walk around the 30 miles of paved trails, or take a guided horseback ride around the scenic nearby area. You could also go rafting or fishing on the nearby Deschutes River, mountain biking or hiking in the Deschutes National Forest, or even drive (or take the free shuttle) just 30 minutes up to Mt. Bachelor for some wintertime skiing, snowboarding, or sledding adventures!

At Sunriver you will find several eateries, shops, and a market where you can stock up on groceries, though you may want to drive into wonderful Bend for even more options. The charming downtown area is just a 25-minute drive from this vacation home, so don't be afraid to take the short trip into town to peruse the shops, museums, galleries, and other attractions there. Bend is also famous for its breweries, so you can stop at any of them, including the especially well-loved Deschutes Brewery for a pint and a particularly tasty burger. However you spend your vacation, you will surely find excitement in every direction!

Bring your family or friends to this comfortable, spacious, and conveniently located Central Oregon vacation rental and enjoy all the amenities and adventures that the resort has to offer!

Very convenient and nice place for a family. First time we have stayed in Sunriver and it is a family oriented environment and everything is very close. One bedroom downstairs, 2 large rooms upstairs and a day bed in the loft. Bring a bike or rent bikes from the village. Community pool and passes to the SHARC is included. Very close to activities like the Lava River cave and Bend. Only draw back is there is no AC which is only a problem if you go at the hottest time of the summer.

Loved ... fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, loved the greenspace outside the deck, loved cozy furnishings, updated bathroom and floor, many bikes to choose from. Excellent place.

We liked the location for biking around and being able to stay out of the fray of the crowds.

We had a great time in Sunriver in cabin #38. It's our third time and look forward to the next trip!

Perfect location for all of the Sunriver activities. Very clean and great layout for 5 adults. Nice sitting area outside. Kitchen is well stocked as well as all toiletries. Would definitely book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ranch Cabin #38. The cabin had all the necessary items to make a great vacation: kitchen appliances and dishware, BBQ, bicycles, laundry, a great lawn for outdoor games, etc. The cabin also has plenty of fans which came in handy as we had some unusually warm weather. It was very clean and comfortable.

This was a great home! Perfect for us. Wouldn’t change a thing. I grew up spending summers in ranch cabins and this was so great. Loved the pool we would go early and swim before others came. Really glad the pool got closed midway because others were congregating and not being respectful of PANDEMIC social distancing. We never experienced that because we went in the morning. But come on people. Don’t ruin a beautiful space because you can’t follow the rules.

Will def rent again!

Nice and roomy for our group, but disappointed that it wasn’t really accessible for my 92 yr old grandma in a wheelchair . I booked it specifically because it had a master bath on the bottom floor, but the master bathroom still had a tub shower so getting my grandma in the shower was a lengthy hassle.

Also, the front door needs a deadbolt lock. The door had a doorknob lock that always felt unlocked from the inside and was misleading and worrisome when locking up for the night.

Would be a really desirable unit if those upgrades were made.

Lastly, we found a broken balloon among the sheets in the upstairs bunk bed. Only way that could have occurred is if Vacasa management did not change the sheets prior. Kinda disturbing especially during this pandemic time.
Manager response:
Hi, Erin! We are so glad you stayed with us and apologize for any difficulties the house posted to your grandmother. Your concerns are being addressed with housekeeping and maintenance. Thank you!

This is the perfect cabin to access the best bicycling trails to the nature center, marina, river loop. The cabin is in a very quite area with green grass right outside. Very peaceful setting. The private ranch cabin pool is a plus. The kitchen is very well equipped with every possible kitchen gadget including a pancake griddle and coffemaker. We had two families for a total of five adults and one teenager and it was the perfect size. The bikes were a great addition to the family who traveled from out of state. There are fans in every room, which is good as it can get hot upstairs in the summer. There are games to play and a nice new tv. The outside deck has four chairs and a card table. Very scenic. We will be back at this cabin again!

We really enjoyed our stay. So close to so many things to do in Sunriver. It was a nice quite area. Only bummer was because of the way it was advertised I was under the impression there was a shared hot tub for us to use near the shared pool. Not the case. They told us the only one available was at the Sharc which closes at 5. :(

Very comfortable and well equipped!

We've vacationed in Sunriver for 17 years now; more than half that time we've stayed at the Ranch Cabins. We love the location and the private pool, and have tried about five different cabins over the years. This was our first time in #38, and we liked a lot of things including the skylights in the living room, the well-stocked game/puzzle cabinet and the quiet dishwasher. Dislikes: carpeting instead of tile in the master bath, busy decor and no outdoor eating table. But all said, we were very comfortable and would stay in this cabin again!
Laura S. Jul 2019
Our families had a wonderful time here. Such a peaceful setting with access to bike trails and swimming close by. Very cozy, all the amenities and SHARC passes are definitely a bonus!! So happy to explore Sun River, hope to come back again and again!

We liked being in close proximity of several golf courses. The cabin was great, well equipped, but could ise some updates. The patio lock box did not work.
Julie S. Sep 2018
We had a very nice family vacation. The kitchen was stocked with every item we could want. There were extra towels and blankets and pillows and plenty of space to spread out.
I would’ve installed low flow shower heads if it was my rental.
Heather L. Jul 2018
Loved this little cabin for the access to the SHARC, biking trails, Fort Rock Park! We loved that the area around the cabin was grass (for our littles to play on) and the cabin area had it's own small pool for quick swims or when we didn't want to to go to the SHARC. The kitchen and living space was a little tight with 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 6 and under) but overall was a great stay!
Stevan L. Jan 2018
Overall a nice rental. A bit cramped for 7 people.
Myah A. C. Nov 2017
Me and my family vacation quite a bit. By far, this was the best place we have ever stayed at. It fit the 5 of us so comfortably. We can't wait for next time!

We enjoyed our one week plus at Ranch Cabin 38. I know it sleeps 8, but we had only two couples and one ten month old, so there was plenty of room. Not sure I would want to be one of 8 in the winter at this unit. Summer is OK as Sunriver is all about being outside in the summer. The unit is furnished very well and beds are comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. Barbecue was clean and in good condition. There were a couple minor items which required attention, and based on the condition of the rest of the unit, I am sure these will be addressed very soon as we let the owner know.

This was our second year at Sunriver for Christmas with our kids & grandkids. The cabin is just right for our family. The snow was perfect & lots of fun. Just wish #38 was a bit closer to the Village, it is quite a walk.
Dane L. Dec 2016
Great little cabin for a weekend stay only downside is parking
Eli F. Dec 2016
Rented out Cabin #38 with a few friends for Thanksgiving. We had a blast! Nice kitchen and a big fireplace were perfect. Plenty of room for our group, and a super easy drive into Bend for groceries and fun.
Jordan H. Sep 2016
Great place for a few of us (six) to stay. There were eight Sharc passes and a few bikes. Some furniture could use an update, but nothing bad. Great place for the price. Love Sunriver!
Karen C. Jul 2016
Good location, had bikes and SHARC passes. Would benefit from updating.
Susan J. Jul 2016
We had a great time. This rental was perfect for 4 adults and 3 kiddos. What a great location! We loved biking around on all of the trails and exploring the volcanic sites that are nearby.
Max C. Jun 2016
Enjoyable stay, liked the location and surrounding area. Facility was nice and comfortable. Just need to clean up the patio area. No problem recommending to another person and coming back for another stay.
David C. May 2016
This is part of the classic ranch cabins at Sun River. The unit is very nice and we had a lot of fun staying here. We were three and you could easily have two families here. The kitchen is well appointed, but you might want to bring coffee stuff (it does have a grinder) if you like special coffee. Also, bring your own bike lock if you want to use the bikes.
Sharyn S. May 2016
Older cozy place to stay.
Susan L. Jan 2016
We had a wonderful stay with our kids & grandkids. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our "family" of eight. We were fortunate to have great weather & lots of snow. We all enjoyed Mt Bachelor for skiing & snowshoeing. The cabin was cozy and perfect for our family "after Christmas" holiday. Our only problem was not enough time to do everything that we had planned to do. Next time we will have to stay longer than 3 nights!
David C. Nov 2015
You cant beat sunriver for staying in the Bend area so much to do winter spring summer and fall
Marilyn W. Aug 2015
It was comfortable and just what we needed. (We could have used saran wrap.)
Kimberly L. Jun 2015
We had a nice stay at Ranch Cabin #38. It was clean and comfortable. It was a nice place to land after a day of activity. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck and morning bike rides.
Paul D. Jan 2015
If you need a place to sleep 2 couples and more than 2 children, this might be it. Be warned, however, that the place is more cramped than it appears in the photos and that the carpet is not in great shape. Otherwise, the place is adequate for a 7-person group (2 couples, + 3 kids). Pretty good kitchen gear, including an excellent coffee grinder. Unclear whether the rental includes parking in front.
