Big Trees Village is a quiet neighborhood that's ideal for a relaxing mountain getaway. You'll be 22 miles southwest of Lake Alpine, which offers lovely beaches and recreation areas. You can also wander through the aptly named Calaveras Big Trees State Park (four miles southwest), hike the Arnold Rim Trail (nine miles southwest), and explore the wonders of the Mercer Caverns (19 miles southwest).
