We had a great stay. The cabin was just the right size for us!! Perfect location right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Only downfall was the driveway but we were warned ahead of time so it was something we expected.

Overall a nice cabin and pet friendly but your pet will need to be part billy goat to go potty. Lots of stairs to climb to get to the cabin, then another flight of stairs to get to the main floor. Stone steps are in really bad shape, you have to be very careful, especially when carrying luggage, groceries, etc. Queen bed on main floor very firm, king size bed in loft very comfortable but foot of bed is higher than headboard side.
Hi, Kathryn! We're delighted to read you enjoyed your stay. Maintenance has ensured the bed is level, and the homeowner is researching solutions for the exterior stairs. Thank you for your feedback!

If I am being honest, compared to other cabins I have stayed in, I would not recommend this particular cabin. For the price I paid for two nights, I was extremely disappointed. The cleanliness of the cabin was a huge set back for me and my guest. The Kitchen could use better, cleaner cookware and utensils, the stove needs to be repaired so that the burners/eyes do not stay continuously loose, the freezer door needs to repaired so that the door will open and close with ease and not fall off the hinge. The stone stairs leading to the main entrance need to be repaired before a hazardous accident occurs as they are extremely loose and dangerous (This continues to be a concern to all who have stayed here). There is water damage and soft flooring in the area around the tub, so if it is not addressed will continue to get worse. The bathroom sink was slow to drain, and the toilet would not flush properly ( I had to remove the tank lid and fill with water and hold down the flap in order for it to work. The only thing the cabin had going for it was it's location as it is between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Hi, Delaney! We're disappointed you would not be interested in returning and hope our response to your review will change your mind. The stove eyes, freezer door, toilet, and slow drains are all fixed. The hot tub decking is in good condition. The property manager is working with a vendor to get the stone walkway addressed. Thank you!

This place NEEDS A DEEP CLEAN, pot holes filled, and the stone steps redone. There is black mold setting in in the bathroom, and kitchen areas. Spider webs everywhere!! No privacy screen to enjoy the hot tube. We cleaned the freezer because it smelled and the icebox was completely full and frozen over. It literally looked like whoever "cleaned" just made the beds and wiped the bathroom down. I would not recommend this place, based on just plain safety. The steps are loose and the pot holes are placed perfectly to roll your ankles, alone with the area not well lit and spare metal roofing laying waiting to cute people. I've booked with VACASA before and this was by far the worst place.
Thank you for staying with us, Daniel! We are sorry to have been unable to provide you with a pleasant and relaxing vacation experience. We strive to maintain a standard of excellence in home cleanliness and upkeep for the comfort of our guests in addition to being readily available to assist in addressing any questions or concerns that might arise. midway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Cabin was clean and amazing. If you have trouble walking...the driveway is pretty steep. Otherwise the cabin was terrific and I plan on trying to get it next year!

We loved the beautiful cabin and the wonderful view..

This cabin is in a great location but has several issues. Obvious wear and damage to the exterior eaves and porch rails. Very undersized microwave and 2 of the 3 TVs were not working with the provided cable. Overall cleanliness was ok but does have some worn furnishings/carpet. Biggest compliant is the stone stairs. They have to be fixed before it's rented again. They were falling apart under our feet and caused us to slip several times. Very steep driveway recommend a 4WD.
We appreciate your valuable feedback, Shane. We are glad the location of our home worked well for you. We apologize for the issues you encountered and have forwarded your review to our home manager to address. The rails have been replaced and the TVs are all working. Our team is aware of the stone stairs missing some spots and is working on a solution. We hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future.

The cabin was beautiful. I read the reviews where things was messed up or didn't work and so on. Here is the deal... you are staying on a flipping mountain. Yes the driveway is steep but not bad at all. Everything else was above my expectations. People need to realize the environment you are staying in and stop picking apart every little detail. We would and will definitely stay here again.

We. Loved. Our cabin. Minus the super steep driveway, everything was perfect to the T. Sugar Bear was everything we wanted and more. Will definitely come back again!

The cabin itself was nice. For a family of 4 we had enough room for a few days stay. However, we had found many issues regarding the cleanliness of the cabin. I won’t go into to details but let’s just say I doubt anyone would want to experience them. The kitchen could use some additional cooking supplies such as pots and pans. We had 1 oversized usable pot and the others were either falling apart or just not worth trying to use. The burners on the stove were not plugged in properly and the entire stay we thought we only had 1 working burner. I’m no fool but I know how to plug in a stove top burner. I guess should have checked that. We had to call and ask for trash bags as they left only 1. The fireplace did not work nor did the technician who came fix it know where the propane tank was to check that so we had now fireplace. There was no welcome book or instruction as how things should work, what to do when you leave, or who to call if you have problems. I don’t know if these issues are from the owner or the management group renting it out. Either way of rent this place go through and make sure things are cleaned to your liking and everything works. Vacasa did refund our fees so I won’t bash them too hard just giving the facts and my opinion.
Thank you for your review, Nathan! We apologize for the cleanliness upon your arrival, and for the maintenance issues you encountered surrounding the stovetop and fireplace. We have worked closely with the local staff to deep clean the home and ensure future cleanings and inspections live up to the Vacasa standard. We have also serviced the stove, and have since removed the fireplace from this listing until it can be properly serviced. We hope for a chance to host you again in the future!

steep driving way that needs repaired. unsafe steep steps, poison oak or Ivy growing across the steps. hot tub a mess scum around the water line. mold on the bathroom floor. rust in the microwave. no place to put your over flow trash. Too much to list. I would not recommend staying here.

Spacious, secluded location close to Gatlinburg, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smokey Mountain Park.

The accommodations were extremely clean and all of the bedrooms were very comfortable! Plenty of space! The home had a true feel of a cabin!
No air hockey table as indicated by post.
Back left burner on stove not working
It rained during our stay and roof was leaking over the kitchen windows, all items on the counter next to garbage were destroyed or wet!
Outdoor hot tub had funky smell...
Pool table rack (for balls) cracked
Slates coming up to cabin broken or dangerous to walk on.
Driveway is steep, yes, however the potholes on the driveway are worse!
We got stuck twice!
They need to be repaired!
The WiFi provided was to be desired! Glad we had our phones!

Nice place close to both the national park and the city

Great base camp for any adventure around the smokys. Comfortable, cozy and clean this cabin was the right size for us.
Brandy H.Jul 2020
The only bad thing i can say about this cabin is #1- the driveway is terrible and #2 the steps going up the hill can be tricky with a handful of luggage or kids.
Other than that the place is wonderful. Hot tub is a nice amenity. I loved that we could leave the door open to the porch and the kids could go in and out as they pleased. Bed was comfy. I would suggest maybe getting that bowed spot in the living room fixed , as its a tripping hazzard. But we just slid the coffee table over it to keep the baby from falling. All in all, we would definitely rent again!
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Brandy. We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We appreciate you letting us know there is room for improvement, and we'll pass your suggestions to the owner for consideration. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

We had a wonderful stay, wish I could have been there longer.
Bobbi T.Oct 2019
This location is central to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so it is in the middle of all of the biggest attractions. It is 45-60 mins from some of the outdoor attractions of the mountains, but it is nice. The place was very clean when we got there, was well-equipped, and was a very comfortable stay!
Melissa R.Oct 2019
It was in a great location
Jackie M.Jan 2019
This was a four day get away and the cabin did not disappoint. Very convenient to the Parkway but far enough away from the crowds. The cabin was cozy and the whole rental process was a breeze. I gave only four stars due to some minor things such as the very steep driveway that, if bad weather was a factor I’m not sure we would have be able to navigate. Also, if you look closely at the pictures, you may be able to see where the living room floor is buckled causing a major trip hazard. One other note, when it rains, and it rained a lot, there is a roof leak in the bathroom. The cabin overall needs some maintenance but we still enjoyed our stay. The furnishings were comfortable and the hot tub was amazing!
