A well-appointed island getaway awaits at “Puakenikeni Place,” a tranquil three-bedroom, two-bath/2BA home located in lower Hawaii Paradise Park. Highlights include an updated kitchen, choice furnishings throughout, and two lanais with alfresco dining. Enjoy easy access to a variety of local attractions, including sea turtles at Shipman Beach, culture and cuisine in nearby Hilo, or an epic expedition to Hawaii Volcano National Park. Unwind into vacation mode on the sofa and armchair in the living area. In the evening, settle in to enjoy favorite shows on the 60-inch smart TV. Prepare fresh meals in the kitchen, equipped with granite countertops, a double basin sink, a French-door refrigerator, and a host of helpful appliances.

This single-story home sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms. Find comfort in the master bedroom, featuring a plush queen bed and a 32-inch smart TV. The house is about 40 minutes south of Hilo in a very sparse development. The house is very nice with both a front and back lanai. The kitchen had everything we needed esp. a rice cooker and a powerful blender for delicious fruit smoothies. The only drawbacks to the whole experience were two things. We came in at around 5:30 and by the time we got there it was dark. The house was hard to find as the signage was a bit small. Afterwards, it was no problem. The only other thing was there was a house next door being built. The builders were very dedicated- coming in to work every day at 8 AM except Christmas. They even showed up on New Years day. It`s kind of hard to relax when the generator gets switched on at 8 every day rain or shine.
In the future, the construction will be finished, but the new house is right next to this house and there is not a lot of foliage to hide it, unlike the house on the other side. That may be a decider as to whether to recommend the property.
Evenings were wonderful, listening to frogs and birds while eating dinner. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

The property is located in a central and quiet place, just a mile from the paradise cliffs that are really good for viewing sunsets or small picnics. The house is very newly built and super clean with lots of amenities. Closest restaurant is a bit of a drive so keep that in mind, it’s about 20 minutes. House has two lanais, front and back, great for outdoor time. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with good entertainment center. The WiFi could be improved a little bit but not bad. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
