This place is clean, organized and had everything we needed and more. I was able to pack lightly because they had a washer dryer. The beds are sooo comfortable and there was a teeny backyard for our dog. The unique homes are a little close together with one lane roads, but the neighborhood is dense with redwood trees. The only suggestion I have is that they upgrade the couch but we used lots of pillows to make it comfy. Otherwise it was perfect!

We loved the house, it had everything except one set of batteries for all remotes! Very cost would difinately be back
Manager response:
Hi, Anna! It was our pleasure hosting you and we are glad you enjoyed your visit. We will be sure to add extra batteries to the home for future guests. We look forward to hosting you again!

We enjoyed our stay in this Rio Nido home. The only draw back was a lack of silverware (four forks, three spoons). The house is nestled in among many other houses so there's no yard and little privacy but all around it was a nice place to be.
Manager response:
Hi, Marjorie! Thank you for telling us about your experience at Rio Nido Retreat. We will restock the silverware right away and hope to see you again!

This a very comfortable, pet & kid friendly home. Beautifully remodeled and well furnished. This home is in a canyon, so streets are super narrow and neighborhood is a bit funky, but is conveniently located close to public & dog-friendly river access points and close to downtown Guerneville. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect house for our family of 2 adults, 2 schooler boys and a 1 yr old baby girl for a quick spring break vacation.
We did our booking late (just the week before we planned to go), but the instant booking on vacasa was very helpful. The lovely house is conveniently located in Rio Nido, which is 5 min away from Guerneville, and right next to Russian River. Rio Nido is such a unique little town, so well situated in the redwood. The house is well equipped with entertainments both for adults and children (DVDs, Wii, toys, books for both kids and adults); beds are very clean and comfy. I took a nap with my baby girl one afternoon, feeling soo calm observing the sky high straight redwoods with two playful blue jays chirping. It was exactly what we needed in mid of the busy work/school life!

Would recommend replenishing more cutlery in the kitchen.

Perfect house for our family of four. It is clean and nicely supplied, and well located for local and river activities. Very quiet neighborhood, in which we enjoyed walking and looking at the variety of houses.

We would like to commend Jennifer who came by the house to correct an issue at 5:30 in the evening. This speaks to the customer service that is exceptional for this home which is in a perfect location and extremely comfortable. The house was wonderful. Very comfortable, clean with a well-stocked kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet and very reminiscent of the Russian River neighborhood I lived in for many years. The only difficulty was trying to figure out the television. "Use the Samsung remote" isn't really good instructions for older people who aren't up to speed with technology. However, it did provide an opportunity to meet Jennifer, the property manager, who was wonderful and very helpful.

The home was not cleaned prior to my arrival after a nearly 500 mile drive. It took three hours and three phone calls with Vacasa to get their approval to stay at a hotel the first night. The house is nice (once cleaned) and well stocked with amenities. But, the surrounding neighborhood is very run-down. There is almost no usable exterior space and three other houses are only a few feet away, all of them are dirty and appear to be inhabited by hoarders. A neighbor's car was parked in the small parking area when I arrived. The small amount of exterior space is unmaintained with cast off buckets, scraps of paper and dog waste.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the state you found the house in. We understand how frustrating it can be to start your vacation on that note. We're glad we were able to remedy the situation, and we'll take special care to make sure it doesn't happen again. We will also make sure to evaluate the exterior space and ensure that it is properly maintained. We hope to have another chance to impress you!

This home was perfect for a family of four. It had all the amenities for a home away from home. The tub drain was clogged, so hopefully owners will fix that. Also, driving up to the home was a labyrinth of small one way roads, however, we just took it all as part of the adventure.
We had a great time and the beds were very comfortable!
Manager response:
Hi Stefany, A plumber has been over to address the clog. Thank you for letting us know.
