Right in the beach with a huge balcony and big loft. Would recommend

What a great cabin, in a great location. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals, plus a great assortment of appliances (toaster, drip coffee maker, Kuerig, air fryer, mixers, etc). It is, very, comfortably furnished. The deck is fabulous to spend most of your time. The sound of the waves, the sparkle on the water, and the gorgeous sunsets are spectacular. Your cares just melt away. There is also the greatest collection of board games, I have ever seen. We would love to have stayed longer. The baby/pet gate on the deck, was a bonus! We can't wait to come back.

Lovely view over the shipping channel between Guemes Island and Anacortes with access to a rocky beach for rock hounding. Would be a good place all year round, cozy living space with a wood stove inside and a fire pit on the back deck. Kitchen is more than adequate for cooking, great food at the local grocery store that has a deli type restaurant with a small brews bar. Do bring your foodstuffs with you has the local grocery store is limited, though they have some nice wines and beers available. House water is a well so water has some mineral taste, water filter pitcher provided but you may want some bottled water. House has coffee maker and grinder. The island is flat enough to make bicycling a joy and the store does have a couple of bikes available for loan to ride up to the Guemes Conservancy area. It would be an easy launch from the property for sea kayaks, and we saw plenty of them go by. We will be back.

Had a great trip ~ loved sitting and watching the different ships, ferries and boats go by.
The wood burning stove was a bonus on those rainy evenings.

I loved the rustic nature, gorgeous views and focus on limited technology! Not the best place on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday since so much is closed locally but I would be back!

My family and I enjoyed this little gem for a weekend getaway. It was easy to find from the ferry and had everything we needed for a quiet and peaceful weekend. We especially enjoyed the wood burning fireplace in the living room and the outdoor firepit on the deck. The internet was easy to connect to and had a good signal. Overall, if you want to sit back and relax and unwind, this is the place for you.

Great place! Ferry ride was an adventure both ways. Thank you so much for the the treats for us and our 3 dogs. The dog stockings filled were delightful! You went above and beyond! Loved everything about your place!

This is a great place to relax! No TV and internet is spotty so it makes it that much easier to tune out. Right on the beach—quick walk to town or enjoy the ocean shore. Wood stove and electric heat keep it cozy inside. Note: dining table is the metal one in the pictures and couches have been replaced by an L shaped red couch. Be sure to read up on how to start a wood stove fire—and bring wood—Not sure if the wood available outside is for renters.

Loved the actual cabin - very clean, well laid out, and can't beat the views! We appreciated having plenty of firewood to enjoy fires in the fireplace as well as the outside fire pit.
10AM checkout is the earliest I've experienced in all of my Vacasa/VRBO/AirBNB checkouts. Seems excessive to allocate 6 hours to clean a one-bedroom cabin (check-in isn't until 4PM). After being advised that checkout is 'promptly' at 10AM, we left at 10AM, and walked on the beach to kill time. We walked back by the cabin around 11:10AM, and the cleaners were not there yet - why rush us out so early if nobody plans to clean it that early?
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Daniel. Due to COVID19, we have had to change checkout and check-in times to give the housekeeping staff enough time to do a thorough clean and give the home some rest time between guests. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. We are happy to hear you enjoyed our home. We hope to host you again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the Guemes Beach Cabin. It is great to find a dog-friendly place to stay. Guemes is a charming island that is a bit of a hidden gem with beautiful beaches and places to hike. The cabin is small but comfortable with a nice fireplace, kitchen and tons of games. We had a great time and will come back again.

This cabin has amazing views and easy access to the beach. It could use a deep clean and some TLC, not the cleanest place. The water smells like metal, so be prepared and bring extra water with you. The property is not very private but view makes up for it. Beds were comfortable, no TV, not fully stocked kitchen (no oil, coffee, foil, etc) overall an okay stay.

very cozy place to rest and unwind.
Manager response:
We apologize for the house not being cleaned as thoroughly as is our standard. Please know that local staff is available to assist with any cleanliness issues you encounter while in the home. We hope to get the chance to host you again! Thank you!

Perfect small space to sneak away from our busy lives. My daughter and I have made many beautiful memories here.

Cute cabin, exactly as described and right on the beach. Warm and comfortable for a snowy few days. It was lovely to enjoy some walks with no one else around. Pure relaxation. We will be back.

Small, two bedroom cabin right on the beach. Well styled cabin with both indoor fireplace and fireplace that we utilized the entire weekend. Large yard for our two emotional support animals to run and play. An abundance of game options which we absolutely loved. Kitchen is well stocked to cook meals. The Vacasa team and this property manager were responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this home ☺️

This how was perfect for my dog and I. The views are beautiful and the house is perfect size. My only complaint was the driveway. Hard to see when backing out and space is tight.

Great house for a getaway. The large yard is perfect for lounging or lawn games. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking necessities. Only recommendation for visitors is possibly bring some bottled water - the tap water is a bit mineral tasting, but nothing bad. With the General store only doing curbside etc, adding water to your packing list would be beneficial.

Super cool spot. Right on the water. Fun to walk around the corner to watch sunset or a mile down the beach the other side to the store. Home has everything you need. Fire pit on the back deck was a big hit. Ferry ride over from Anacortes was very easy and simple. We hiked to the top of Guemes. Nice hike. A little over a mile up with great views.

10/10 would recommend.

This amazing location is the best part of staying at this cabin. You can walk out the back door onto the beach for a peaceful walk, and we spotted river otters, bald eagles, and lots of other birds. There was an amazing chorus of frogs in the nearby Peach Preserve in the mornings and evenings. We also happily sampled the baked goods on offer each day at the general store. The perfect place for a quiet getaway.

Fantastic location, right on the beach, and close to the ferry. We had a great time!
