We stayed here for Christmas week so prices obviously are going to be higher. But the view pays for it. Being right on the slopes ski in and out. Not being far from the center of it all. The kids loved ice skating and tubing. ! The house it self was cozy and home feeling. The kitchen is equipped with all the kitchen appliances you need ! I loved how they have plenty of games stocked in house so they are available for use. Food lion is about a mile down the road from the bottom heel entrance. Elk banner isn’t far , Boone isn’t far for hitting the downtown strip for local stores and gift shops. We always stop at the general mast store ! Always a great place to get something different. Each room has its own adjustable heat settings. If your traveling with kids this is kid friendly as we had 3 and no issues !

Also someone must have moved the gas logs . Because they where out of place and that causes them to burn dirty and put off a odor . So we reset them and put them in their correct placements now they work perfect. All you have to do is flip the on and off switch. ( I know bc we install gas logs and propane tanks and gas line ).

The down side is the steps lol especially when your out of shape like is 😂. But it’s a good work out. Just to flights. But a big difference when toting baggage and maybe update one of the shower heads for better water flow. And LEAVE extra towels ! And the beds are a little stiff for me but just my opinion. BUT OVERALL!!! —- we enjoyed it and loved our stay it was exactly what we wanted and we were not disappointed our 5 day stay was well worth it ! And the kids enjoyed their Christmas vacation. Thank you. And definitely will keep this same unit in mind for another trip to sugar mountain! Also if you want to go tubing else where other then sugar mountain check out hawks nest ! But buy your tickets in advance 😉.

Thank you from Mr. & Mrs. Eddins. ❤️

We could see the slopes from the home. It was small but we had plenty of room for the five of us.

This was our third stay at Sugar Mountain and our second time in The Branches. This unit was wonderful. Beautiful view of the Easy Street chair lift and beginner run. Unit 14 is located in the building that is located furthest up-slope and when you cross the footbridge over the stream to the beginner run, there is a nice area to sit and put skis on the kids. The unit was decorated nicely and had an Atari 2600 video game system connected to the living room tv. The gas fireplace worked great,,, just flip a switch and you’ve got a fire going 😊 the only thing missing was a big rug in the living room. The kitchen has a new large fridge and a half size oven but since we’ve stayed in an identical size bee branch unit before we were expecting that. Plenty of plates, glasses, silverware, etc. but you’ll need to bring your own pizza cutter if you plan on heating up any frozen pizzas. Bedrooms were carpeted and comfortable with plenty of cabinet space for clothes. Bathrooms were clean and everything operated as normal (great water pressure).
My family loved this unit and highly recommended it!!!

We had a BLAST! We could ski right off of the back lawn, had a front row to the beautiful slopes, & didn’t have to drive far up the mountain. 10/10!!!! Will definitely stay here again.

Easy to get in with the lockbox upon arrival. Perfect size for our family of four. Two full bathrooms with showers in each. Washer/Dryer and full kitchen was great to have during our stay. The only negative was the spare bedroom mattress. It is totally worn out and desperately needs to be changed out!!!!! PLEASE CHANGE THIS MATTRESS! And the TV's were quite confusing to figure out. I own an electronics store, and they were even difficult for me to figure out how to watch regular Spectrum channels. This unit is on the bottom floor, making it easy to get to the slopes. REALLY loved how we could just ski up to the condo, climb up one flight of stairs to the condo and put our skis on the deck and go in the condo and get warm and eat. At night, the lights on the ski hill were beautiful. Our kids got up early before the ski hill opened and went sledding. We had a great time. We WILL return again!

It is a convenient place for a skiing trip at the right price. Fully equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms, great access to skiing. Fire place was a great bonus.

Overall, great condo in a great location. Traveled with a family of 4. Had plenty of space. Love that we could walk right out the back door and be within steps of the slopes. So convenient, especially when traveling with kids.
One bed was uncomfortable, but we made the kids deal with it.
We will definitely be back.
Manager response:
Hi Amy, we are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback as well. We are very sorry to hear the beds did not suit your preferences. The mattresses are in good working order, but each guest has their own unique preference. We sincerely hope for the opportunity to provide you with another truly special vacation in the future!

Unit 14 was right on the slopes. Walk down 2 flights of stairs to get right on the slopes. Made skiing easier than usual. The unit was clean and the heat worked very well. Also the fireplace was a nice touch

Disappointed when we lit the gas fireplace and gas fumes were very strong . Even when it was off but pilot light in. Maintenance cane and looked at it and said it was fine. But they were wrong. The fumes were so strong our eyes were burning and causing use to sneeze. It needs to be looked at by a professional.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, James. Sometimes the fireplace does put off a smell when the tank is low. Maintenance is scheduled to take care of this and called a service provider if necessary to ensure there are no other issues.

Bee Branch #14 was the perfect location for our family (grandparents, parents, and 2 young kids). The bottom floor unit made ski in/out perfect and our kids loved watching the skiers while enjoying the porch. Perfect location to get beginning skiers to theeasy lift/ski school area. The creek running by made it even better. The unit was clean, master bed oh so comfy, and kitchen was enough that we ate every meal in while there. We are already planning our next trip using Bee Branch #14.
