This woodland oasis, which sits 500 feet from a beach on the banks of the Russian River, offers an open living space with custom woodwork and lovely touches of vintage architecture, a beautiful deck and gas grill to enjoy beneath a canopy of trees, and a wood-burning fireplace to curl up to on chilly Sonoma County evenings.

This home sits within a short stroll of a community beach on the Russian River, one mile northwest of the amphitheater and the riverfront park. The Northwood Golf Course is less than two miles east, and the tiny community of Duncans Mills is five miles west. Take a drive to explore the eclectic shops and restaurants in downtown Guerneville, six miles east, admire the rugged beauty of the ocean at Sonoma Coast State Park, 10 miles west, or spend a day (legally) foraging mushrooms at Salt Point State Park, 27 miles northwest, before catching the sunset at Timber Cove on the way back.
