We love coming here. We've been here several times and will be back again. The location is good, very central to everything we need. The Beach is 1/2 block away and we can walk to many restaurants if we want to.

Location - perfect for families that want a quiet beach vacation. Quiet street. Close enough to the water you can wander up for an hour or so and don’t have to bring everything for “a day at the beach”. Second floor is great for the view and catching the breeze from the ocean. Clean comfortable accommodations. Close enough to attractions without the noise and crowds

I am mostly a buyer beware type of person but our stay in this rental forced me to leave a review to warn other people. This rental was very disappointing to say the least. First off we found this listing on the VRBO website and only realized it was a Vacasa property during billing when we were hit with an additional $100 fee. Following that the billing got screwed up causing my wife to have to be on the phone with customer service for literally hours trying to straighten it out.

Our arrival at the rental led to even more disappointment due to the condition of the unit itself. The condo has obviously not been updated in decades. The carpets are disgusting - stained badly and not what anyone would consider clean. The furniture had stains and crusty stuff on the couch - clearly not cleaned well. The chairs in the living room are broken. Cheap plastic chairs on the deck are broken and held together with little metal “L” brackets. The bathroom was another area that needed to be cleaned better - simply wiping surfaces does not justify every renter paying the cleaning fee. Many of the blinds on the windows were broken and could not be raised and lowered.

The listing itself was also inaccurate as it states the unit has a washer AND DRYER. There is no dryer in the rental rendering the washer mostly useless. There was no extra toilet paper for the bathroom- only the roll on when we arrived. Clean towels and sheets were the only signs that anyone had come in between renters and done anything.

After all of the fees (cleaning, booking, Vacasa) this rental cost us almost $300/night. For that price there should be some serious attempt to correct the deficiencies in this rental - at the very least a very thorough cleaning should be done between every renter - especially since every single one is paying the cleaning fee.

We attempt to be as transparent with our listings as possible and provide accurate and current photos, amenities lists, and descriptions so guests can make an informed choice about what they are paying for. We supply a starter set of incidentals for each property and advise all guests to bring their own or purchase additional if needed. We also have local staff available to assist in any necessary issues should they arise, and ask to be contacted during your stay so they can be addressed

The location is very convenient with many great restaurants within walking distance. The beach is close and never crowded at 43rd St. The condo had everything we needed. We'll be back to this location.

We have stayed here several times and always enjoy our stay. the condo is in a great location with an easy and short walk to the beach. It's also within easy walking distance to many restaurants. It has everything we need for a comfortable stay. We'll be back here for sure!

This house is in a great location. It's a half block to the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants. It's a quick trip to the boardwalk from here. The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The king size bed was very comfortable.

The location was very close to the beach and nearby many of the placed my family wanted to go. The only downside was the rodent problem. We contacted Vacasa multiple times to report it. They gave me glue traps. to try and deal with the situation. We appreciated the attempt but our stay was a bit unrestful thanks to the mice.

Loved the mid-town location. It's on a street that does not have direct access from the bayside (not at a traffic light) so the beach is less crowded than a block or two in either direction. Very comfy bed. No outside noise was heard when indoors. On the balcony, when it's quiet, you can hear the ocean. Easy parking. Easy walking distance to several restaurants. Would stay here again.

My first thought of the place was wow the smell from the cleaning is beyond strong. But this day and age of covid I guess it’s a good thing. Super short walk to the beach and a private back lot to park.

Overall had a wonderful experience staying at Straney #3! When we first arrived the place was everything we expected and more! The neighbors are lovely and it’s located right next to a delicious crab shack! The beach is minutes away! The place is very accommodating for nice little family vacations!

Loved that this place was close enough to the beach to walk back and forth throughout the day for lunch and beach breaks. Very safe with light traffic so the kids can walk back and forth themselves and play outside. Loved avoiding the crowds on the busy boardwalk beaches but still a walkable distance away. Kids loved their own bedroom with two double beds. Nice patio to sit outside for meals or relax. Convenient outside shower and very nice, rarely seen neighbors that were kind.
