We enjoyed staying at BigFoot Bluff. The cabin is exactly as described. The downstairs bed is extremely comfortable, although I don't know how my husband and I used to have a queen, it's so tiny. The property is steep, so for walking a dog it is not ideal with no flat grassy area but we made it work. We stayed during winter storm Izzy and getting snowed in wasn't so bad. Plenty of firewood was provided. Warm and bubbly hot tub. Fully stocked kitchen. Very good wifi, even during the storm. We lost power for 2 hours and that's it. Made a snowman and enjoyed the relaxation. It's a bit of a haul to Helen through winding steep mountain roads so it made going into town a task and not as convenient, but we like being secluded and pet friendly. Also, during the winter (especially with the storm), the roads and driveway are extremely nerve-wracking. We almost slid into the private gate going down the driveway in our half ton truck in 4WD. We inched it VERY slowly but it's so steep you're still going to slide. Our stay was over and we had no choice but to try to leave the day after the storm. Be mindful of this if you stay during inclement weather (snow/ice). You will be stuck at the cabin especially in a car. And they closed the Russell-Brasstown Scenic Byway the day before the storm and throughout it obviously. So you will have to go all the way around the other way to get to Helen which is about an hour. We loved Helen and got to enjoy it before the storm. A few places were closed during January (not storm related, for vacation time in the slower season) but plenty was still open to enjoy it . We can't wait to come back in the summer.

Very clean, exactly like pics, well stocked kitchen, one else anywhere nearby, great hot tub that was preheated for us, wonderful porches with rocking chairs. Great location...near several great waterfalls and hikes. Only issue was that there was no kindling or fire starter available to start a fire, but plenty of wood....a minor inconvenience as we just walked around the woods to gather branches.

Had a great time. Beautiful views.
Rogelio H. Dec 2021
I loved the whole entire cabin!!! The only thing was that they left the trash can full and boxes of the things that were inside the cabin. Otherwise the cabin was great!
Manager response:
Rogelio thank you for the review of your stay. We are so glad you enjoyed Big Foot Bluff. We apologize that the housekeepers overlooked the trash can and the boxes. We hope you will be back soon! Thank you!

We loved how secluded we were.

The weather was horrible and I got very sick but this was of course no ones fault . The Cabin was beautiful and well equipped and the mountains were spectacular even through all the rain. If I had stayed well and the weather had been better it would have been a super vacation. Maybe we'll try it again and better luck all the way around. Yes I would recommend this in a heartbeat

Perfect little cabin in the woods. Close to Helen close to downtown blairsville. Just the perfect location. VERY clean and had everything you need and want! Will definitely stay here again!

The home is beautiful and we had a relaxing email. Entering the driveway in a car was very challenging.

Was as described. Had everything needed for a restful break. Was only cabin in use during our stay.

Although the house is pet friendly it really isn’t dog friendly as there is no place to truly walk dogs… Aside from that the cabin is spectacular with all the amenities you could ask for for a weekend or a week long and get away from the real world… The tin roof may rain therapeutic… It’s ideally located to get to all our favorite North Georgia hotspots…

The cabin is very nice and spacious. They even provided firewood. They also have direct tv. The porches and jacuzzi were awesome. The fire pit is nice but it’s very hard to get up and down to it. Mattresses are very soft. But still worth the stay. We will come back. Pet friendly as well

My friend and I have organized at least one (sometimes two or three) cabin trips a year for our friends for the past 5 years, and decided recently to do a little get away for just the two of us. This cabin was probably one of our favorites we have ever stayed at! So clean and cozy, with everything we needed. The beds are SO comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils for cooking, and the screened in hot tub is perfect to sit in and watch the sunset through the trees. So quiet and secluded without being too far out for a quick weekend. I ended up booking another stay for my partner and I before I even left. Definitely bring a car that can handle a bit of a grade, the driveway is steep. Cant wait to come back!

Place was the perfect size and the hottub is huge. Place was super clean and quite. If your looking for a good family get away, this is your place. Be away if you're not used to the mountains the driveway is a tad steep but not impossible to make, you don't need 4w drive (unless it's icy).

Loved the secludedness of this property. It was very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. Within driving time to Vogel state park, Brasstown Bald, and many other outdoors areas.

Secluded but close to stores, restaurants, and hiking. Great hot tub on covered porch, and all amenities you need. We would definitely stay there again!!

Stop what your doing and book, The Bigfoot Bluff. It looked everything like the photos! Perfect amount of space for two couples, with private bathrooms. The cabin is in between the city of Blairsville and Helen. Everything was super clean when we arrived we needed nothing! Will be booking again in the future.

This is the perfect mountain cabin for a relaxing weekend away! The cabin was very clean and the location was private and relaxing.
Amadeo I. Aug 2020
The cabin was a bit far from downtown Helen, yet It was a fantastic cabin that helped us get a well-sought relaxing vacation. Would definitely recommend this cabin

We decided on Big Foot Bluff out of a regional search after looking for a few hours each day for about a week. I’ll save you the time - book this cabin! Spacious, comfortable, and homey, there’s plenty of room for a combination of up to 6 kids and adults. The two bathrooms and split levels would offer privacy for separate groups or adults and kids. Fully equipped kitchen for cooking from scratch or making semi-homemade meals. The downstairs bed is very comfortable (and soft; if you prefer a harder mattress you may find it too soft) and sleeping with the crickets and cicadas makes you feel like you’re even further out than you are. The hot tub is a killer touch, perfect for relaxing or romance after a long day of hiking and exploring. The location is perfect: secluded but not isolated, with less than half an hour to most any trails, lakes, rivers, or state parks you’d want to visit in the area. The gated entrance and self-check in with the door code is an awesome combination for peace of mind and safety. Cannot recommend highly enough! Just book it! :)

The Cabin was perfect and close to the most beautiful waterfall. It is exactly where you want to stay if your looking for a peaceful getaway and to be surrounded by nature. My three year old son had a blast. The cabin was well cleaned and the description of the property was exactly what was described. We definitely will be coming back! Thanks for the great hospitality!

The first thing I loved when getting to the cabin was the gated drive up to the cabin. I always love added security! The cabin felt like home from the moment we parked. We loved the outdoors and spent most of our time there between the firepit, hot tub, and rocking chairs and swing on the front porch. The inside of the cabin didnt disappoint either. The open layout and separate living spaces/bathrooms offered family time and alone time as needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the space that this cabin offered. I think our favorite thing was being in a remote area that was close but not too close to all the modern amenities. We will definitely be booking another stay in the future!

The security gate and the lication.İt was so quite and clean. The only complaint was the shower water dont get hot! We will be coming back for sure!
Manager response:
We appreciate your feedback and apologize the hot water was out during your stay. Our maintenance team was able to get the hot water up and running properly to both bathrooms. Thank you!
