The property is in a great place and has the potential to be amazing. There is so much room in the house to entertain everyone. I will also say it is set up really nice to host a huge group. Our main complaint is around the cleanliness of the cabin. The kids feet were completely black after running around the house for the first hour we were there. There was a lot of trash outside from the previous people in one of the hot tubs was not working. These things can be easily corrected and when we called the service team was very responsive and came the next morning . Overall we still had a very good experience and it won’t take much to get this back up to 4 1/2 or five star rating

We had booked 2 other rentals through Vacasa. One canceled for reasons we weren’t told, one the rental burnt down. Vacasa offered us this cabin. It did accommodate our large group.

Amenities were lacking a bit. Only one extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, we had 38 people there for 6 nights. Definitely not enough. The picture was deceiving in that we thought the cabin was a stand alone cabin. It wasn’t. It was more of a complex and there was no play area outside for the 8 kiddos in our family. It was just s big parking area. The view also was not as pictured.

As others mentioned there was s horrific noise. It was like a steam building up type sound followed by banging noise like some one hammering. Best we figured it was something with water heater or plumbing and unfortunately we had the bedroom where the locked cubby door was. So any time someone flushed during the night we were serenaded by that obnoxious sound. One of the upper bedroom showers had extremely weak water pressure so they used our shower. Hopefully after this submission these things will be addressed.

We assumed pool was included but when a group went to use it they said we had to pay but that day we could use it without charge. When I called Vacasa they said we didn’t have to pay and didn’t for any future use.

Other than that, the cabin was clean upon arrival, beds were comfy and it served it purpose for us.

What I loved it was roomy and enough room for my family. What we didn’t love was the roaches everywhere, the air didn’t work on the top floor(when they did come and fixed it, it didn’t stop working on the second floor. I also reached out to let them know we had leaks in the ceiling from the rain and didn’t get a response, no kind of refund and this cabinet was not cheap. So in all bad service.

Beautiful place in a great location but needs to be professionally cleaned and has a few pieces of furniture that need to be replaced.

We are of 7 Families with Total count of 30 members enjoyed the Cabins. Loved the location , easily accessible. Hot Tubs are nice. Below things to be improved.
1.Additional Trash bags should be there and trash would have removed on daily basis.
2.Back of the cabin gives strong awful smell i think its due to sewer tank.
3.In the Basement one of the Room has light bulb issue.
4.Once u enter Basment on the Right side Bedroom gives terrible sound i think if any one uses Bathroom the sound will disturb ur Sleep.
5.Extra Napkins , few more Cooking utensils has to be added.
6.No option for Electric Vehicle Charge point.
7.Additional Grace Period of 1hr should have given as we gone as group getting out everybody is a tough job.

The most wonderful highlight in our stay is when we decided on Christmas Eve that we would go carol singing around the cabins in our neighborhood. Not knowing, in the present climate, how people would feel when over 50 strangers came to their door unexpectedly, I was a little nervous, even though the kids had persuaded my husband and I to dress as Santa and Mrs Claus. But without a doubt it was a resounding success! People mouthed the words thank you to us and others asked us to wait while they brought elderly infirm relatives to the door to listen. The most special part was the next morning the snow had been falling heavily all night and when we opened to door to look out at breakfast time, there were our neighbors carefully scraping the snow off our vehicles. It was our turn to say thank you. It felt like a hallmark movie. Our kids will never forget that experience. The whole week was magic. We even got to see a bear in the woods behind the cabin . We felt like God had given us the snow as the icing on the cake. Even the scary descent down the icy road on our departure became part of the memories. We loved it all!

A lot of space. We had 10 families and everyone got a separate bedroom with an attached bath; still, we had 2 more bedrooms with bunk beds. The main floor dining area was very good.

Cabin was in a good location close to all the major attractions, plenty of parking, and plenty of space for a big group. Bathrooms are less than average as the doors were broken to one bathroom and fixtures are old an outdated. Stairs need complete remodel or finishing as it was just some nasty carpet. Check in and Check out was good. Internet and Wifi are super slow so don't expect to stream videos on TVs or even do work on computer as it takes forever. View would be great is they cut the tress from the patio, not sure why this hasn't been done. Beds were comfortable. Hot Tubs worked make sure you turn on when you get there.

It was very large and location was good to get to activities. The place lacked in every other category. I left it much cleaner than when we arrived because it was just dusty and unkept in general. Garbage was in the back and side yard area hillside, the view was okay but pretty sure a septic tank was below the deck area that smelled. Hot tubs are old and didn’t heat up until our day 2 which was our last day since we only stayed a weekend. Check out time for that large of a facility at 10 AM was absolutely ridiculous, we got up at 6 AM and had just enough time to get everyone out at 9:52. The linens are old and the mattresses have no mattress protector and blood stains on more than 1. Shower doors broken and swinging from the bottom in room on entry level, washer and dryer are stack on tops and hold 4 towels maximum. Linens all stained. Cob webs on decks and furniture just looked thrown in the corner. Carpet on the steps was so bad that we wore shoes anytime we had to walk on it and parking was tight and there were only 3 cars for our entire party. Grills were small and gross. The outdoor rug inside just basically had to be rolled up because it just folded up and was a hazard. The theater portion had a bunch of remotes and was disorganized. Sorely disappointed and I have stayed in 20 cabins over the years in the area with no complaints.

We loved the fact it was big enough for each family to have their own space. It didn’t feel crowded with 30 people staying.

We did have a few minor issues with a dryer, oven, dishwasher, and fuse but maintenance was quick to respond. Luckily there were 2 of everything. Garbage should have been picked up more often given the size of the cabin and COVID. We ate every meal in the cabin.

This cabin was amazing. PLENTY of room for everyone! The movie theater was a great touch for the kids. Having two hot tubs was nice so everyone in our party could enjoy it together. I highly recommend this. If there was any negative at all it is that the view off the back porch would be so much more amazing if they cut back some of the trees.

VALHALLA, the house we rented was wonderful.. All the beds were very comfortable, the toilets all worked and even though there were over 30 people there, the water was always hot for showers.

On 3/29 I was informed via voicemail that the cabin we had rented (Second Nature)was not available for our stay 4/1 through 4/5. Was pretty upset and angry until I read further that we would be upgraded to Valhalla Manor. 4 bedroom upgraded to a 12 bedroom was above and beyond. We appreciated that adjustment and accommodation. My curiosity of why we got bumped was forgotten quickly with this accommodation.
