I loved the location, you feel secluded due to the wooded lot, but you're a block from the lake and close to downtown. The cabin is quite spacious and feels much bigger than the picture shows. The inside is funky rustic just like the pictures show. It's nice having two full bathrooms, so there's no waiting when getting ready for the day. The wrap around porch is great for relaxing, BBQing, and having some drinks. We visit McCall often and would rent this cabin again in the future.

This worked perfectly for us as a couple traveling with a dog. all appliances worked well, including laundry facilities. The location is very convenient to town and located on a very quiet street. the beds were comfortable and the house was clean. I would stay here again.

Quiet, but only a block off hwy 55. Everything worked well. Cool on a 90 degree day.

We loved the feel of a cabin and how it looked. Our dog definitely approved - he was happily running around the house on first evening. Later he was too tired after the hikes to do that. In the morning I enjoyed how dark and sleepy it was in house. Nice cool air from outside was very relaxing. There was a deer that we have seen around the cabin few times. But there also were few things that I shared with Vacasa that they need to work on. If you are looking for a WiFi password, it is not in a welcome package on a table in a living room, but on a WiFi tower in a living room. The light in a living room is remote operated - so look for a remote and not a switch. The light above the dining table operated on a dimmer which is located next to the bathroom - it is a weird spot for it. We found that the mattress downstairs is uncomfortable and ended up sleeping in the upstairs bedroom after trying to sleep downstairs for couple of hours on a first night. The mattress upstairs are much nicer in mine and my husband's opinion. To tell you the truth, it feels like that downstairs bedroom bed has a very bad energy. It is like too many couples were arguing and fighting in it instead of enjoying the stay. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the stay. We are people who cook and we used the grill couple of times. The stove in a kitchen has issues with a front burner - it was not working unless I pushed it in deeper into the connection and didn't rattle it too much after that. I hope that will be addressed soon. Also, I wish they would say how to turn off the heat in house because it was ON all the time since the thermostat goes only to "low". The place feels old. Probably needs attention maintenance and some appliance upgrade wise.
Manager response:

Location was perfect with the feeling of being in the woods. Very well stocked, everything in great condition. The pictures don't do it justice, is even nicer than expected.
Service was lacking... Called to report the TV not connecting to the WiFi but promised call never returned. Went into Cacasa office in town to report ceiling fan not working to circulate hot air back down from high ceilings but promised call never returned. Shame, the lack of response is the only thing negative to say about this place, cabin was beautiful and well stocked.

Comfortable setting and well outfitted kitchen, this made for a perfect winter getaway.

We loved the home. Great selection of cooking utensils and pans. We love to cook our own food while on getaways. Very cozy feel to the home. Only complaint is couldn’t get the fake fireplace warm, and some lightbulbs are burnt out. But otherwise was awesome and a five star ⭐️ place!!
Manager response:
Jason, thank you for your review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed this home. We apologize for the maintenance issues you experienced and appreciate this feedback as a means to improve. We hope to host you again soon!

McCall is lovely and the best thing about this house was it's proximity to town.

The house itself is old and bordering on run down - carpets and furniture could use updating. House was described as rustic but felt just old.

It wasn't properly cleaned - tufts of hair left on the bathroom floor. Appliances work but aren't great, the grill barely gets hot. Two bathrooms but the shower stalls are so small it's ridiculous. Also, you get about 5 minutes of hot water before it goes completely cold, so whoever takes the second shower is basically out of luck.

The house was advertised as having three queen beds. This was critical to us, so we weren't going to book a house that didn't have at least a queen. We got there and found full/double sized beds.

I think this was pretty unacceptable and Vacasa should have given us some funds back or put us into a house that meant our needs. All they did was refund the cleaning fee.
Manager response:

Quiet setting surrounded by large conifers with comfortable amenities inside give you that feeling that feeling you're a home.
Kim J. Feb 2020
The house was clean and closets and dressers gave us plenty of room to put away our things. Nothing fancy but we found everything we needed including coffee maker and seasonings. We did need to supply coffee and condiments from the nearby Albertsons. We will be back!

Great vacation home for a family it’s close to town but still feels private. It was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. We even had some deer come right up to the back porch. Would be great for summer and winter time in McCall!
