Price is right. Home is wonderful for two people on a short trip. You can tell the owners have updated a few things (flooring/countertops), but not all the things are updated (peeling paint/salt air damage/rust). The most concerning thing is the floor on the crow's nest is pretty soft. There is not enough overhead lighting, and if you don't like strong fragrances don't stay here. It's not a "bad" smell, but it is strong. My husband and I looked EVERYWHERE trying to find what it is so we could put it on the porch, but we couldn't locate a candle or incense or whatever it is that is the owner of the fragrance.

I saw previous emails and was concerned about this property but to our delight we were thrilled with everything! For two people it was roomie and I thought it everything was very clean. The only suggestion we have is buy a DVD player for those who enjoy movies. We bought one for less than $10 at Goodwill and it was great!

Great value for our money. Really enjoyed the rooftop deck. Easy walk to the beach and had everything we needed. All of this for the same price we would have paid for a hotel inMount Pleasant.

I gave this condo two stars because of the close proximity to a pool and the beach. Other than that, I will not rent this particular condo again. It is in desperate need of a makeover! It looks like it has not been updated in at least 20 years. Old appliances, utensils, and cookware in the kitchen along with warped kitchen cabinets. The bathroom shower is old and not working properly. Furniture and decor cheap and out-of-date. Definitely not worth the high rental fee! I paid over $500 less to rent a condo in St. Augustine just the week before. This particular property had been completely renovated from top to bottom and offered everything you would want and need. Port-of-Call didn’t even come close in comparison!

We have stayed in other units at this same complex (Port ‘O Call) and this unit is not worth the price we paid. The price is reflective of an updated, extremely clean condo. This one needs some updating - new refrigerator and stove, cabinets, sliding glass doors (which are extremely difficult to open/close). We also suggest housekeeping needs to be reviewed by management. We found dirty towels/cloths in the washing machine on our arrival (which I washed with provided detergent or we would not have had any extras), no trash bags, and the surfaces were “sandy” as if not properly wiped off. I suggest looking around for a better deal because after Vacasa adds their fees, the price is the same as a 5 star unit.

Wish I could review this unit better. The views are perfect, screened porch is awesome, and pool is great! However this unit needs major work. There’s is mildew/mold on every ceiling. The shower is full of mold/mildew. It needs a deep clean and fresh paint. For the price, I expected it to be cleaner and nicer. Also there was food particles left all of the sink when we checked in so not sure how well they actually clean. We actually brought disinfecting products and used that as soon as we arrived. However, if you can get past that then it’s a perfect place LOL

We just stayed here this past weekend for just Friday and Saturday, the check in process was a little confusing. Since we arrived after hours around 630. And the office closes at 5. The room was a little out dated and needed dusting bad. But in all was a nice stay for the weekend. Bring your own sheets since the sheets they provide are not all that great.

Location of condo is very good, looked like it wasn’t really cleaned good before we checked in. We stayed here two years ago and it seemed better then. Just needs a little tlc. Would rent again, love the screened in porch for breakfast each morning

The view and location were excellent. The actual place , however, needs a serious update. Carpet needs replaced. Fixtures and appliances do as well. The place was not well cleaned when we arrived ( fingerprints on most glass surfaces , countertops had not been wiped down) I had to clean/ sanitize it myself before we were comfortable. There weren’t enough linens in the place. We had to buy a couple of blankets. We were glad to have great weather and didn’t spend much time indoors.
The crows nest was amazing at night. And the actual furniture wasn’t bad.

Started out a little rough when keys were not provided and had to wait after hours for someone to provide the keys. We had a great time after we finally got checked in.

The unit had a 'tired feel'. There were a number of light bulbs out. The unit was in need of some cosmetic repair. The TV was antiquated in the LR. The latch on the outside front door didn't work well. Many of the baseboards were dirty (given the cleaning deposit ANY noticeable dirt is unacceptable). The 'need' to buy 'acceptable drinking water' seemed odd. Overall, the space was laid out well. The bedroom was very nice but we would have preferred a king size bed.
