The Cabin is easy to access, well-supplied, very comfortable, cozy, and relaxing. The kitchen is well-stocked with brand-spanking new pots and pans and a great selection of baking stuff and utensils, along with a few standard herbs/spices, etc. Beds and furniture were extremely comfortable. There was no grill when we were there, but we weren't planning on using it anyway. The creek is beautiful and right in the backyard -- it is a VERY steep approach but there are knotted ropes leading down the bank for stability. There is not a whole lot of parking (two cars seems about the max), but it's not a huge place so it should be more than sufficient!

Loved the cabin! Cozy but spacious! Fireplace was fabulous, piping hot water, hot tub was perfect! Loved the river and swing beside it! Easy to find. Definitely out in the woods, but not far from necessities and activities. Highly recommend!

A darling cabin to relax and enjoy the woods and creek around the outdoor pit! Can’t say enough!

Me and my family had an amazing time at LCOTC!!! The creek was nice, we couldn't fish due to no working fishing pole and previous rain the night before but even while we were exploring the beautiful Downtown Blue Ridge area many people told us that Trout was very common for them. Def go there and ride the train. It was closed when we went, but Snag a frappe from Das Kaffee Haus first. Visit Rick at Pezrok, the lovely lady in Silk Rd travler, and many other little town shops to grab souvenirs and keepsakes from while in the downtown area. Pinball machine was down so that sucked, but we definitely got to enjoy the perks of the hot tub and foosball table. Games were available, but we brought our own. Tv had good quality tho we didn't use it much. Loved the fireplace! Luckily there is a Walmart close by if you forget to buy a starter log. Didn't really have much of a bug issue. A rare fly, mosquito, or spider but nothing that bothered us. Got great use of the grill that had majority of what we needed. If you have cast iron pans we highly suggest bringing them for cooking. The kitchen had pots, pans, coffee machine and other utensils to use to cook and eat with. Also the kitchen sink gets extremely hot which is nice to clean with, but watch out when washing your hands. The shower upstairs is the best! The downstairs tub has jets but we tried them and it was kinda loud and our kid was sleeping (come to found out she heard nothing) but we didn't really get to use them. The beds we're comfortable and had nice quilts to sleep with, tho we brought our pillows and fleece blankets too so we had extras. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

Whats not to love!?! My family felt at home instantly! Everything we needed was available to us. We were at the heart of downtown Blue Ridge and were so close to all the local areas we needed to visit. My kids enjoyed the hot tub, the creek and swing were peaceful. As a mom I absolutely LOVED the washer & dryer. I would not have packed so much clothes had I known how well it worked. We had WiFi and Cable to keep the kids entertained at night. EVERYTHING exceeded my expectations. The AC and Heat system worked. And most importantly... it was so clean. Thank you for a memorable time. We are strongly considering visiting your cabin again. Thank you!

Great cabin home! It was perfect for a weekend getaway. No need to go anywhere with the creek, hot tub, pin ball. Will definitely book again!

We loved how cozy and cute this cabin was. It was just perfect for our little family. The pinball machine was the highlight for rainy days (and everyday) and the creek and hot tub was wonderful. Everything we wanted to see and explore was close by and we really just loved the location and cabin.

Cute cabin. Could use some TLC. Hot tub and pinball machine a plus. Kids and husband loved it. Creek was nice but hard to get into and play and swim due to the drop off. Neighbors on both sides. Not secluded at all. The roads to the cabin are great. Easy to access. Nice shaded yard.

Cabin was quiet and fully stocked. Game room area was great. Outside area is a little less kept up than it looks in photos but that was ok. We enjoyed the pinball and foosball tables immensely and even saw some deer on the road to the cabin.

Wonderful cabin by the river with a swing and area for a campfire. Even with close neighbors you get a feeling of solitude. The only issue we had was internet and phone service. We booked during the week knowing that the husbands would work during the day while my friend and I adventured around Blue Ridge and McCaysville. Instead we had no cell service and counted on WiFi service which was spotty and inconsistent. Some of the calls were very critical and were dropped mid sentence which was unprofessional and embarrassing. We rebooted the server no less than 12 times in 3 days. The men would have to walk about 1/2 mile to get cell service and one time stood in the pouring rain for 45 min to ensure the connection. Time was spent finding free internet at local businesses which left my friend and I with no car while the guys worked. In that respect it was a very disappointing trip. AirB&B was extremely responsive and worked diligently to fix the situation. VaCasa was not. Would NOT book through VaCasa and very glad that I had booked through AirB&B.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Vicki. We are glad you enjoyed this cabin overall. We apologize if you were not able to get cell service, but we are happy to report that the wifi is working properly. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

The cabin was about 4 miles from blue ridge, while it had neighboring cabins it was still private. The cabin was so cute and the kids loved the game table and ping pong machine. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The only reason I didn't give five is because we rented the cabin specificly for fishing, the exterior photos online were of a nother cabin and the bank was completely tree free... This one was not. It made it difficult to cast and we were looking to catch trout and never did. We caught a few creek chubs.

Loved that this house was directly on the creek! Although some things need updating, the house was stocked very well with everything we needed.

Working with Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals was great. Process was easy, they sent us the information we needed when we needed it. We had one small issue during our stay, and they were quick to respond and get on it. Would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.
