This home has an amazing view and is located in a gated community but not on top of any other cabins. Home is spacious and kitchen is perfect and no one feels crammed. Overall, the stay was amazing but a few things needed to be addressed/upgraded especially for the price point of the cabin. No can opener or casserole dishes. Lots of bakeware but several need to be replaced as they are burnt/old. Water throughout cabin only gets warm not hot. Carpet downstairs needs a good cleaning as there are numerous large stains. Patio furniture needs new cushions as several chairs didn’t have one and the ones that did were flat and you were basically sitting on metal. Grill worked but needs some work on it as one burner struggled. Other than that, the layout of the cabin is perfect for a group with 2 beds and a bath upstairs, main bed with en suite bath and 1/2 bath on main floor with kitchen, dining room, family room, and the basement has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom along with a dart board, jenga, cornhole, pool table and hot tub. The hammock swing needs a good cleaning or replaced as it looks really dingy. Overall, the cabin was great and we had an amazing weekend. As I said, a few things here and there and would had preferred the hot tub more positioned to admire the view but no biggie. Cabin is beautiful and the view is spectacular! You’ll definitely enjoy your time here. One note: the road coming up to the cabin is a bit steep but it was manageable just noted for winter stays. I have a suv and we were weighted down so it seemed a tad of a struggle at first but was fine. It is steep though.
