The house is located in a lovely rural spot (the nearest neighbors are a couple of horses and a small heard of cattle) with great birdwatching. The owners made a great use of space, especially in the kitchen. Overall, it’s a very comfortable house with good amenities.

This place was wonderful. It is secluded, which we were looking for to have some peace and quiet - away from the city. Always felt safe. The trip into Springfield is short. Also near the cottage are several parks that provide access to the river, one with a dedicated "pool" area that limits the rivers current. Only complaint was due to the summer heat. One bedroom had a fan, the other did not. Cottage has A/C but for airflow, the fans are helpful. Would definitely recommend to family and friends looking for a secluded get away.
Manager response:

This home was perfect for our needs. My teenaged son and I were interested in exploring the area around Eugene and this was a great location. We were close to the city but also a short drive from trails, waterfalls and great restaurants. The house itself is very attractive, clean and well equipped. The kitchen has all the essentials you need and the view is amazing. The back yard is beautiful and as great place for relaxing and bird watching.
