Steamboat Ski Resort is sure to satisfy the dreams of any winter enthusiast, but summer guests have plenty to look forward to as well. Sanctuary Trail, Fetcher Pond, and Yampa River Core Trail all offer terrific hikes, and Fish Creek Falls, just five-and-a-half miles northeast, has spectacular hiking trails that lead to a 280-foot waterfall.

Parking Notes: Each residence has access to a one-car garage. Guests are permitted one additional covered parking spot but must display the parking permit furnished by the front desk visibly on their windshield. Covered parking for secondary vehicles is first-come-first-served. The height of covered parking is limited to a maximum of 8.5ft. No trailers are allowed. Guests are welcome to utilize both the 100s and the 200s parking lots. Parking along Apres Ski Way is not permitted.

Good location. Note that the air conditioning is partial and not in master sleeping area or one of the upstairs bedrooms. On 90 degree days this made sleeping difficult even with open windows due to inadequate air flow. This is a deal breaker for us for summer stays. We need it cool to sleep. Also, some repairs need made, including kitchen faucet handle, master blinds, and one bathroom hair dryer outlet.

We had a great Spring Break with 3 adults and two small children. We loved being able to walk to Gondola Square, Apres Burgers, and Wild Plum. The couch was amazing for lounging and the kitchen was pretty well-appointed. We were glad the hot tub and pool were open and thought the reservation system worked pretty well. We would definitely stay here again. Some small things that we would suggest the owner consider for future improvement:
1. the nonstick pans need to be replaced; the coating was peeling off and they were really hard to clean
2. the kitchen could use some tupperware or other reusable food storage, there were lots of bowls, but no lids or tin foil
3. it was odd that the master king bed had queen sheets on it! They kept slipping off and it was annoying.
4. the couch had a small metal piece sticking out from it that tore my husband's shorts. The property manager put some tape on it and made it right for the damaged clothing, but it probably needs a longer-term solution.

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend to others.

A very great experience staying at the Phoenix #130 with my family! The staff at the Phoenix was great and we all had a awesome time! Even during the crazy times of COVID-19
