Home was nice but a bit dirty.
Manager response:
We apologize the home was not suitably cleaned and will follow-up with our staff. Thank you, Marne!

We were a group of 10 - 6 adults, 3 children, 1 infant. The Bird's Nest was wonderful and we all commented on the spaciousness. We've stayed with this same group in several Airbnb's and this is the first one where we all felt comfortable! Plenty of TV's, short walk to the beach, great WiFi and roomy kitchen. We also loved the sweet little town of Port St. Joe!

Amazing! Everything about it was just what we needed.
Wendy A. Jul 2021
We had a wonderful time. So spacious!! Love the quiet area!

This place has room for the family plus some! It's very nicely furnished too. We had our family of 6 and still had extra beds. The walk to the beach was very reasonable and the neighborhood was all easy to walk around in. Unfortunately there is still some storm damage in the neighborhood and the pool was closed for some reason. The sign said cleaning but for 2 days we couldn't swim. The house needed some minor repairs which we shared with VACASA and hope they get fixed.
Manager response:
Hi Michael, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the spaciousness of the home and the proximity to nearby attractions. We apologize for the impact that the recent storms had on your stay due to the damages and pool closure. Our local staff is working diligently to ensure that the condition of the home and amenities offered are returned back to normal just as quickly as possible. We hope to have the opportunity to host you in the future!

This house was fantastic! Had every thing we needed and appreciated the design and decorating. Even bigger than expected and we loved the community it was located in. Easy access to the beach and loved how quiet and private felt. Weals very much appreciated the communication and information from VACASA. Hope to come back!

This property is expansive. Were were really in awe of how much room our party had. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. High ceiling and plenty of room everywhere to enjoy your space. Very pleased with our stay.

We vacationed at the Birds Nest with another family of 4, and the house was absolutely perfect for the 8 of us. High end furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen and an absolutely amazing neighborhood with easy access to the beach made our stay fantastic. We loved walking, swimming and sitting outside in the various porches. Sunsets were beautiful from the 2nd story where the water view is. Clean,
comfortable and an easy drive to town for whatever we needed. One of the most beautiful homes in a quiet and picturesque neighborhood.

This was a perfect house for our group of nine to meet for our annual gathering. We enjoyed this house so much. The porches and balconies were wonderful. Very large and gave everyone space and privacy. The large sofa was great for gathering and playing games. It was nice to be able to walk to the pool and to the beach. We plan on booking this same house again next year.

We took 8 grandchildren, 6 adults, bicycles and a golf cart for a long weekend. The weather was perfect and so was the house.
Heather D. Oct 2020
The house is beautiful and the check in/out process was easy and seamless. There is plenty of room in the home and it is stocked really well!

A few things, the screen door was broken when we got there, so my husband actually fixed it. There were no trash bags left by the cleaners, but not a huge deal. There also is a lot of stagnant water from what I presume are all the storms that went through the area recently. Unfortunately, this produced A LOT of mosquitos, so we couldn’t enjoy the cute fire pit. It really needs to be pumped out.

However, the positives are really amazing! An extremely short walk to the beach! We drove by the pool, but didn’t use it. The house has wonderful showers and great amenities! The sectional is a great meeting spot for everyone! The village down the street is still being developed, but looks like it will be a great addition.

Just a suggestion- having bikes available would be amazing! There’s a great golf cart trail that is in the front of the neighborhood and would be great to bike!

Thanks to these great home owners and to Vacasa for another great vacation!!! We would definitely book again!
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Heather. We apologize maintenance missed repairing the door prior to your arrival and are grateful for your husbands efforts. We were unable to get anybody out to pump the water due to everyone being booked from the recent hurricane. This will be addressed as soon as someone is available. We hope to see you again!

We enjoyed the fact the kitchen had most everything you would need to cook even including spices! Wine cooler too!
Brandon B. Jul 2020
Had a great stay here with the family nice home walking to the beach was easy just a short walk . Couch in the living room was very comfy . Kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked the entire week . Plenty of porch space to relax on as well. Only complaints I would say are poor water pressure even with just one person showering our awesome shower upstairs would only run one shower head and some electronics not working Like TVs upstairs couldn’t get to work To watch anything but in one bedroom and surround sound wouldn’t work to watch any movies downstairs with surround . These are minor issues and we would love to come stay here again because we could not beat the deal we got for the amount of space and people that could stay it’s just set up real nice
Manager response:
Hi, Brandon! We have a plumber scheduled to take care of the water pressure, and we are getting all of the electronics checked out. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see you again!
