Take the whole family to the sea turtle sanctuary or the island's birding and nature sanctuary to appreciate the local wildlife. Depending on when you visit, you'll be treated to activities such as food trucks, amusement rides, firework displays on the weekend, and many more. Restaurants, bars, and a CVS are within walking distance of the house, meaning any essentials you desire are easily obtainable.
Perfectly situated only half a block from the beach and one block from the central entertainment district, guests at the Kent House have the luxury of wading in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico by day and enjoying fresh seafood, live music, and sunset happy hours by night. The interior of this home is eclectic and comfortable with two spacious living areas including cable TV in both rooms. Hoping to squeeze in a bit of work as well? Plenty of workspace and free wireless internet is provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, pots and pans, and cooking utensils, with an adjoining dining room and seating for everyone. On balmy evenings, you may choose to enjoy a bottle of wine in the shaded backyard or on the rooftop patio instead. The backyard also features an outdoor shower for washing off sand from the beach before coming indoors. The Kent House has air-conditioned sleeping spaces for all of its guests. There is a double bed in each of the bedrooms, a sleeper sofa in the main living room, and another sleeper sofa in the converted garage/den. Guests will share one full bathroom in the main section of the house plus separate toilet and shower facilities in the converted garage.
Feel free to take advantage of the converted garage as an additional area to lounge and watch TV. Its washer/dryer, small kitchenette, and microwave make it a great place to hunker down for a movie marathon. While there, engage in some friendly competition with the game table as you play cards, a board game, or challenge one of the many included jigsaw puzzles.

We’re excited to inform you that this unit utilizes a comfortable style of bed-making known as Triple Sheeting. Triple Sheeting is proven to be more hygienic and is used by five-star hotels around the world. It consists of a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket, and finally a decorative top sheet.
- There is a free shuttle you can utilize. The Island Metro currently operates daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The shuttle runs the length of the Island, stopping at beach accesses, hotels, restaurants, attractions, and other points of interest. All of the shuttles are equipped with a bicycle rack, ADA accessible with wheelchair lifts, and offer complimentary WiFi.
