I’m not one to give bad reviews or complain but this had to be shared.
This property is owned by a corporation who clearly doesn’t care about the QUALITY of this condo/room. The location was the best part as well as the heated garage but that’s about it. The room is dark and dreary and everything is extremely outdated. The rugs are pretty nasty in the hallway and bathrooms. I’m surprised that there are not many reviews about the beds, though. I’m not sure how 4 people would stay there with one queen bed that’s hard as a rock with sand paper sheets and twin size comforter. Same for the pull out couch- you sleep with the bar in the middle of your back b/c the bed is so thin and the sheets and “comforter” are itchy and don’t keep you warm.
The bathroom(s) are just okay- the lighting is not that great and the shower head is awful. The water pressure is so strong that it feels like little needles poking you and it sprays all over where you can’t even wash your face.
Lastly, the kitchen was pretty cramped, no space for groceries but it was convenient for what we needed with our short stay.
Thank you for staying with us, Alexandria. We're sorry to read you weren't happier with your experience. We are discussing the furnishings and beds with the homeowner, and maintenance will be checking the shower pressure. We do hope to host you again someday!

Twin sheet/blanket on the double bed
Lack of pillows/lumpy pillows
No extra blankets in the closet.
Same access code for everything. Surely the complex has multiple entry codes, right? I wonder if this unit just reused the building complex entry codes (same code for the doors, garage, indoor hot tub, gym) or if the complex really has 30+ different entry codes assigned for every unit. The odds of a system like that staying up to date seem less likely than the entire complex having the access code to this unit...
Layout is strange with a half bath, and then a tub/sink only. The unit is basically an elongated studio apartment. 4 people would be...snug
No AC and one exterior window, beige walls, dim lights, feels dark and gloomy. The unit warmed up to the low 70s with heat off, which was about the same as outside high temperature. I think it could get hard to sleep in warmer summer weather (a box fan was in the closet so maybe that's enough). It is not a relaxing place to return to. Though the creek hidden in the bushes outside the window does sound nice.
Two humidifiers in the closet, they were much appreciated in the dry mountain air.
Walls are thin. You'll hear the water pipes every time a nearby unit flushes the toilet or runs the shower.
Construction is ongoing right outside this unit. Noise until 7pm some nights. Banging (hammer?) until 9pm another. Plan to step around ladders and extension cords until they finish (looks like a month+ project)
The $150/night was okay, though we have since found nicer options for the same price around town. Not a chance I'd be happy paying 'in season' rates of $700+/night
Outdoor hot tub is closed due to above mentioned construction.
The garage parking was nice. I can see why another review mentioned issues with the parking permit - it's a generic vacasa hang tag with the unit# but not specific to vehicle or dates - we didn't have any issues though.
Access to the snowflake lift can't be beat. The walking trails alongside it are also a nice perk. The free bus system has a stop right outside the complex. 10 minute walk downhill to main St. The location is definitely the main selling point of this unit.
Other reviews have mentioned lack of cleanliness but everything appeared clean to us and we had no issues other than no dishwasher detergent.
We are so sorry your experience was not better. We do mention construction in the listing for this home; it is expected to be complete by mid-September. The hot tub is currently open for our guests. The property manager has your review for reference while making improvements. Thank you for the helpful feedback!

The management answered all questions and they took care of a few issues IMMEDIATELY! Thanks for a great stay!

Very clean and easy access to hiking 🥾

The location and building amenities were fantastic (hot tubs, heated garage, ski lockers). This unit is poorly maintained. A few specific issues we had are listed below. Any of these on their own would be fine, but combined they leave you underwhelmed about returning.
Fireplace didn't work (instructions said push on button, but that did nothing)
Living room lights above fireplace didn't work
Bathroom had a light out and a few very dim bulbs
Screen from window sitting in living room
Bedroom TV didn't work with anything but random DVDs
Parking pass wasn't valid, building threatened to tow car... phone numbers listed on parking pass and email didn't work to resolve situation; eventually called vacasa HQ to take care of it
Shower drips constantly
No blanket for sofa bed (sheets only)
Hi, Joshua! Maintenance has been to the home to address the fireplace, lights, and Roku. A plumber is scheduled to look at the drip, Dish has been contacted for assistance, and housekeeping is bringing more blankets. Thank you for such helpful feedback!

This is a perfect place to stay if you are skiing. You can’t get any closer to the snowflake lift. The underground parking was a huge plus as well. So much easier getting in and out.
Jennifer K.Feb 2021
What we loved - close to the lift, close to the laundry, ice maker, and hot tubs. Rented our ski gear from Charter Sports at the base of Snowflake lift and they aloud us to leave our skis there at each night. No hauling your skis around. We did have a maintenance issue that Vacasa resolved. Check in/out was a breeze. Short walk to down town so close to the shops.
What we didn't like - This place was filthy! We had to wash any cooking utensil, dish, etc before we used it. The kitchen table had something sticky on it. I took a Clorx wipe to it and the cloth was soiled terribly. All of the tile floors needed to be moped and the rugs looked like they had never been washed.
Since close to the outdoor hot tub, it can get loud as it is right outside your door but closes at 10 so no all night noise. We feel like Vacasa needs to hire a new cleaning crew for this property. We think the only thing they touched from the previous guests was changing the sheets and replacing the towels. Also, if you drive a bigger vehicle (suburban/truck) the parking garage is not made for you. There was only one spot that we could park in order to get our truck of the garage due to the tight turns and small parking spaces.
Thank you for staying with us, Jennifer! We are sorry to hear the condition of the home did not meet your expectations. We're happy to hear that, despite the issues, you were able to enjoy the location of this home had had a great ski trip. Your feedback has been forwarded to local management to review with our housekeeping team. We hope that the refund issued shows ur dedication go guest satisfaction and helps you to reflect on your stay more positively. We appreciate your feedback and hope to provide you with a more comfortable experience next visit!

We loved the heated garage and the close proximity to the lift, but that was about all that was enjoyable about this place. Our room was not clean at the 4pm check in time but they were there 5 min prior to our checkout, ready to clean the room. Our access code as well as multiple other families, did not work when we went in for lunch the day after we arrived, and took about an hour and a half to resolve after having to play phone tag with multiple agencies. The dishwasher was broken, as well as one of the window cranks. Each individual problem is not the end of the world; however, multiple insults in a 5 day period is unacceptable.
We appreciate your review, Jared, and apologize you were not happier with your experience. Maintenance has been tasked with addressing the dishwasher and window crank. Thank you!

This was a fantastic location- minutes walk from downtown, lift, hiking and more. We loved the heated parking and cozy community room.
Kevin H.Aug 2020
Spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was quiet during the week but once the weekend came, there was a lot of noise until 2am so we ended up leaving a day early.
Harry O.Jan 2020
Pretty good location. Great ski out. Took a bit of a traverse to get back but not bad. Close to Main Street walking distance actually. Heated garage was nice Easy access process. All around decent value and location.
Kelley L.Nov 2019
It was in walking distance to the SnowFlake Lift (unfortunately we didn't check to make sure the lift was open yet) but atleast the bus run from their to the gondola. The heated garage was awesome feature and the place is well isolated so held the heat in extremely well. We actually opened the windows bc we got hot in the middle of the night and it was in the 30s. :) The mattress in the sofa bed is super wore out and shower knob was extremely loose which made it difficult to get the water to the right temp, but other than that the place was so nice and clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back.
Hi Kelley, we're so glad you enjoyed your stay in our home! We have passed your feedback along to our property manager, and we'll look into making updates to our home. We hope to host you again soon!
Amy T.Nov 2019
Easy location but tight quartets and no oven, nice heated garage, hot tub out of service
We are glad that you enjoyed this home's location Amy! We apologize that the Tyra Riverbend's hot tub was out of service for your stay. We hope to host you again in the future.

Great place to stay close to town. Love it
Craig G.Mar 2019
Great location! Easy to catch a bus to anywhere in town. Jump right on Snowflake Lift and ski right back in on Four O’Clock. If you are wanting to cook every meal then I would suggest something with a bigger kitchen but if you are a family of four (2 small kids) and go out to eat then this place is great!!
charles E.Feb 2019
Great location, 30 ft to lift, and quick return. The fireplace switch didn't work, had to manually light ; so we didn't feel comfortable using. Nice ski lockers, and plenty of parking in heated garage. Small kitchenette but it was ok.
Maureen L.Jan 2019
Great convenient place! Only request would be a new pillow on bed. Current one is very lumpy...that would be it :)
Jeremy R.Dec 2018
I’m not sure how no one has mentioned this but this is a studio with small kitchen that sections the space out. There is no door.
Having said that, overall it was pretty good. Clean, super convenient, a nice space, great location being next to the hot tub and first floor. The bathroom set up as mentioned is odd but probably a plus. The kitchen is definitely small but reasonable for a studio. Overall it was a very good stay.
Brittainy H.Nov 2018
It would have been a five if the fireplace worked and the bed was more comfortable. It was an excellent location and very clean and cute. We had a great time boarding!
John S.Oct 2018
Watm, confortable, easy to find and close to Breckenridge center
LEVI E.Aug 2018
Had all of the things to make sure the trip was comfortable - even a small box fan and humidifier for keeping the air moistened some (thank goodness). Has a private parking garage, which was nice considering the morning temps in the 40's make for a brisk walk if it weren't a heated garage. We would most definitely stay again in this location.
catherine m.Jun 2018
Great location. Very clean with good amenities
Richard B.May 2018
It had all the basic amenities you need and a great view. Quiet place and the local manager Shane was great at fixing any problems we had!
Robert M.Feb 2018
Perfect for what we needed. Unbeatable location just feet from Snowflake lift. Unit is cozy - bathroom layout is a bit strange with split toilet and bath / shower room but totally usable.
Don't plan on cooking elaborate meals but definitely everything you need for basic cooking and prep.
Gino R.Jan 2018
Perfect location at the base of the snowflake lift. 2 minute walk to lift, 10 minute walk to town (but you'll probably want to bus/uber back because the return walk is uphill). This unit is 50 feet from the hot tub, which was super convenient. No complaints on amenities, exactly as described. Vacasa check-in and out process was very easy. They offered us late check-out until 7pm for a small fee - really nice benefit if you want to ski your last day!
Overall, would highly recommend, and would stay again. Thanks!
Greg P.Jan 2018
Great location by Snowflake lift and quick walk to town or on bus line if you do not want to walk.
Kinga G.Oct 2017
Very cozy apartment in a great spot just feet away from the snowflake lift. We did have small issue with cleaningness, but not a big deal to us. Over all good experience.
Amy F.Sep 2017
Great location, cozy and comfortable
Brian M.Feb 2017
The condo was in immaculate condition. It was cozy but sufficient room for my wife and I with my son on the couch. Access to the Snowflake lift and town could not have been better. The kitchen was fine for cooking a simple breakfast or making your lunch for on the slopes but it would be difficult to cook an elaborate dinner with the limited space. Luckily there are many excellent restaurants in Breckenridge for dinner.
Tim H.Dec 2016
great location in terms of access to slopes and down-town.
Michelle M.Aug 2016
Very nice Just need outdoor area for summer or screened door to breath such clean air. Just a little dark
Telma M.Jun 2016
I decided to go to Breckenridge at the last moment and booked my hotel through another company and stayed at another place. BIG mistake. It was a very bad experience. I booked through Vacasa the next day with the help of Jennifer F. I was so glad I did. I was able to stay at the Riverbend at 4 O'clock. I love this place. There is secure indoor parking. The place was really nice and clean and I am very picky. The condo had new furniture and new carpeting. If you love hiking this is a great place and its situated near several great trail. It's also close enough to walk to restaurants and shopping. I differently want to stay again, I highly recommend this place.
Matthew S.Mar 2016
We enjoyed our stay here. The size of the unit was perfect for a couple. We had an issue with the cleanliness of the room upon check-in, but the property management group got it taken care of. The room needs a couple minor maintenance fixes, but it is still totally functional and fine to stay in. The location is great, right next to snowflake lift and within walking distance of town. Like others have suggested, take Four o'clock run back to condo, the snowflake run has some flat spots that are more difficult to traverse than having to walk across the street from the Four o'clock run.
We are so happy to hear that you had a great time staying here! We really appreciate you giving us an opportunity to help you and want to thank you for your suggestions. At the end of a long season, our operations team addressed the maintenance items. The owner has ordered new carpet and a new sofa. We hope that you'll come again this summer and enjoy this great little condo.

We loved that we were right next to the lift and covered parking with lockers. our disappointment is with the unit 119 itself. Outdated. Bed was like sleeping on a rock, the vanity in the bathroom was missing the center cover, the Jacuzzi tub (which was nice) had no shower. However the shower head was there, but no lever to switch. The transition from the tile to carpet, the screws were coming up and actually cut my foot one evening, light in living room did not work.
pro's: location, fireplace, covered parking, lockers
con's: lacking attention to the details on the part of local management staff and owners of unit
Thank you for sharing your review. We apologize for the disappointments you experienced; the Property Manager will take care of the screws and living room light and will also inspect the shower head and vanity. We hope you had a wonderful time! The owner and manager have worked together to provide brand new carpet and a new sofa for the next stay. Also, we have added a sign for instructions on the use of the shower - it works perfectly!

My husband and I recently enjoyed a lovely stay at Riverbend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. There were a few issues with available linens (no top sheet on the bed; only 1 wash cloth and 2 towels there when we arrive; no spare linens for the pull out couch) but other than that, everything was great. We skied for 3 days and this location was prefect! Snowflake lift was 20 yards from the front door and we skied down the Four O'Clock run at the end of the day from which we simply walked across the street to Riverbend. I would suggest NOT taking the Sawmill/Snowflake run back to Riverbend as it requires a lot of pushing! Lots of flat areas. Take the Four O'Clock run and save yourself some energy.
Food: Rita's is delish! We always visit Rita's! Motherload was also a huge hit with some yummy comfort foods.
Thank you for letting us be a part of your vacation experience. We apologize for the oversight on the linens. Our guest services team is just a phone call away and we hope that we were able to correct this during your stay.
Daniel B.Jan 2016
If you want to eat out during your entire stay, this would be your place. But if you want to cook, their "kitchen" consists as a mini fridge, mini dishwasher, tiny sink, and a two stove burner. No oven!!!! The heated garage is killer! The bathroom and shows are in separate rooms. It is directly next to snowflake lift! The bed is ok. The humidifier was unusable due to not being cleaned in most likely over a couple years. This made sleeping in the condo more difficult. We would not stay here again even with being directly next to snowflake and having a heated garage.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to see that you did not better enjoy your time in this home. We will be sure to clean out the humidifier so our guests can use it comfortably. We hope you had a great time!
Don S.Jan 2016
It was a quaint little room with easy access to the lift and you can ski almost directly to the door at the end of your day!!
