Great location to Downtown Gatlinburg.
Extremely clean and very cozy

The chalet was cute, but totally not Impressive outside. We will not stay here again. We had a great vacation and loved the mountains. However, the chalet/ cabin was way overpriced. Next trip, we will stay at a chain hotel for at least half the price.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Patricia. We are disappointed that this home did not meet your expectations as we strive to provide the very best vacation experience to all of our guests. We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you in the future, for a much more enjoyable trip.
Christy F. Jul 2021
We had pros and cons with the place. What we liked is that it’s close to the strip. We were able to walk and not have to worry about finding a place to park.

This was the perfect get away for our family of 4. The house was close enough to walk to downtown Gatlinburg but secluded enough to get away in the evenings to relax in the hot tub. This is a new home very well built. We even saw a couple of bears one morning

No coffee provided, got in at 8pm and had to go back out to the store. TV only got one station and it was westerns. There was not one hanger. No tissues. Cheapest toilet paper available. Only heavy comforter and sheet, would have loved a blanket. The pictures made it appear it was secluded, there are condos on each side, with dumpster below bedroom window (noisy). The house itself was very nice, but sometimes small things can make a big difference.
Manager response:
Hi Jan! Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, we do not provide coffee. I have passed your feedback regarding the hangers and blankets to our local manager! We hope to host you again in the future.
Courtney H. Jun 2021
Good things: House was very clean; beds comfortable; enjoyed the hot tub; appreciated the washer/dryer (2 detergent pods provided- appreciated)
Hospitality 101: need more than 2 pillows on a king bed (no spares in the house) The only blanket was the duvet/comforter. No place in the main bedroom for luggage (no hangers in closest) luggage rack doesn't fit anywhere; only dresser drawers (3) No dishwasher- yet they leave dishwasher detergent pods. NO coffee pods or coffee filters- unique size (Keurig)- good luck finding them in Gatlinburg. I called to ask if they provided and and they said no. I was not happy. Even the most basic hotels provide coffee/filters/pods. There were no personal recommendations from the owners about restaurants, things to do etc. Magazines were 3+ yrs old. Very little cabinet space for pantry items. It was all taken up by dishes.
LOCATION issues: The street has a lot of construction post fire. What the pictures don't show is the abandoned house across the street (where the cute table, fire pit, grill are located) also, lots of glass and nails in the creek (from the fire I would assume), so I would recommend to keep kids out of it. It's a 20 minute walk to the parkway. That makes a ~45 minute trip to walk to get coffee. The trash truck comes by AT OR BEFORE 6AM every day to empty the dumpsters. SO LOUD.
This does not appear to be a family vacation home but an income property. Unfortunately I would not recommend this house, especially at the rate of nearly $500 (all in) per night.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Courtney. We are pleased to hear that the cleanliness of the home met your expectations and that you enjoyed the beds and hot tub! We are very appreciative of your feedback and suggestions and apologize that you felt that it was missing a few necessary items. We have shared your concerns with the local manager who will work with the homeowner to make any necessary upgrades. We hope to have the chance to impress you in the future.
Kristel T. Jun 2021
The cabin it’s self is very nice and clean. I would say 6 people, even if kids would be a stretch. The trash runs every single day at 7am and it’s very loud. You are also right next door to a busy apartments that is also very noisy and bit of an eyesore. They were working on the road and area around us which also made it hard to enjoy the nice patio. The unit does not have have an ironing board or iron but they did bring an iron after we requested one. No sheets for the pullout. The cabin it’s self looks brand new and is very nice. The hot tub was perfect after all day walking. The kitchen is nice but you are the dishwasher.
Manager response:
Thank you, Kristel for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely apologize for any disturbance caused by neighbors and the local trash service during your visit, and we are sorry if this caused a negative impact on your visit. We will follow up with the appropriate parties regarding your experience to discuss preventative measures. We hope for another opportunity to host you again soon, for a much more enjoyable stay.

This place could not have been more perfect! Location is amazing, walking distance to the heart of the “action” in downtown Gatlinburg. Still had the feeling of isolation because it is so quiet and serene. We will definitely be back!
Tim L. May 2021
the cabin was very inviting. The Creek running in front of the cabin was nice. The location was very convenient to everything. If you are looking to stay in the Smokies - this is an excellent place to book.

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We loved touring the Smoky Mountains.
Amy K. Mar 2021
The location of this rental is great for a walk to the strip. We enjoyed the new construction of the home, everything was clean and fresh, but it is a tight squeeze. Any more than a family of four will be cramped. The sitting area across the street was wonderful! It was so nice to enjoy the sound of the creek.
Eric B. Mar 2021
This house is wedged in and very tight inside with a bar minimum kitchen, however the location is outstanding and it is clean.

We love the new cabin look, and it was super clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the private fire ring and picnic table across the street. It was very close to downtown and all the attractions, but also had a quant and quiet peacefulness to the location.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed this quaint but well appointed cottage along Baskins Creek. Easy walk to all the downtown adventures that Gatlinburg has to offer and more! The kids enjoyed the foosball table in the loft area and we all had a great time in the hot tub relaxing after a fun filled day. We would definitely recommend and plan to visit again!
Lisa H. Aug 2020

Cozy and neat. We really loved our stay.
Very close to everything. Forget about searching for a parking spot in the busy streets of Gatlinburg.
We would love to come back on our future vacations!
