This place was great! Really too much to list so here are some of the highlights...
Street is clean and safe
Really close to the Boardwalk, Beach, Warf. (5ish minute walk)
Small but comfortable, great place to came back to and relax after a busy day playing
Mattress was very comfortable.
Owner lives right next door and is very nice and helpful
We will definitely stay here again!
One thing everyone needs to understand, parking in Santa Cruz sucks. I used to live there and its horrible regardless of location. Unfortunately this place is no different. Don't assume you will get a parking spot right in front. However, there's lots of parking within a couple minute walk. It's not a ding against this place just a heads up.

Cute house. Perfect for two. Super central.

Small, but charming and very convenient for two people looking for a place close to the beach (it's literally one block away) and easy walking access to downtown Santa Cruz (10-15 min walk). We had everything we needed for a two-night getaway and had no issues with anything. Yes, it's older and attached to private residence, but that didn't bother us. Only thing we wish was there was a kitchen table of some sort to play games on, but the little patio table worked fine since the weather was great. We found TV trays in the closet that worked to extend the liftable coffee table top for a large board game we played. A card table and chairs could be a nice addition. Oh, also the bed is really squeaky and the heater makes a very loud clicking noise, but we remedied that with ear plugs. Clawfoot tub was super cute and we had no issues with it draining. Linens were clean and bed was comfortable. Didn't use kitchen appliances so will refrain from comment other than to say there is a Keurig with coffee pods, fridge, microwave and stove/oven. Stocked with pots/pans, dishes, Brita water jug, silverware and wine opener, but maybe lacking some spices. If you plan to cook, bring the essentials. Also appreciated the eco-friendly soap/shampoo pods, but as with many eco-friendly products, they are lacking good lather so if that's not your thing, bring your own. Futon would likely not be too comfortable to sleep on for adults as the springs were a bit pokey, but prob fine for kids. I would say we are easy-going and don't need the frills that swanky hotels boast, so this place worked great for us. By far, BEST part of this place is its location - you can't beat it!

A cute little residence on a nice quiet street where succulents thrive and show themselves off. A true delight.

The house was even smaller than imagined- definitely not worth it for the price. The tub drains sooo slow, so we couldn’t shower in fear that we would flood the place. The sheets had stains on them. When you walk in, you walk into the bedroom and that’s the only door you can use so I wouldn’t recommend staying here with others. The remote was missing that allowed you to use the tv, they only provided the one that turned on the tv and changed the volume so we had to watch tv off of our laptop. No extra blankets or pillows.

Quiet , clean and restful.

Cute little cottage for two! We had three in our group and it was one too many as it was small and there wasn’t a kitchen table and the futon couch served as the third bed.

Only a couple of blocks from the beach and walking distance to the downtown area. Beach towels and chairs in the closet, which was really great. Strong wifi, parking included, and contactless check-in - really enjoyed our stay!

Close to the boardwalk and beach!

The home was clean but the parking was terrible on Monday which was a holiday. It took an hour and fifteen min to find parking. We had messaged prior to booking and were told we would have 1 parking space access. When we called for help the company was not helpful we asked if we could cancel bc we had no where to Park to be able to stay and they wouldn’t give an answer just kept going in circles. It was a very stressful start to a vacation. We didn’t really move the car after that in fear for not being able to find parking again. No other problems during the stay.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Kelli. We love life in a simple Santa Cruz bungalow and this fit the bill to a T. Morning sunshine on the front porch was especially wonderful. You can't always beat the fog but we were lucky!
Geoff F. Jul 2019
We had such a great time. Everything was just as the listing described.

Great place to stay with a wonderful location to many attractions and beaches. Highly recommended

The layout of the place is definitely different, but overall, the place is great and surprisingly quiet! The place was cleaned well and the bed was comfy. I loved the water pressure in the shower. The owner, Keith, was thoughtful in the amenities he provided, such as a water filter pitcher, toiletries, some cooking spices and an extension cord to charge our electronic devices. Literally steps away from the boardwalk. Nice size for my husband, 8 month old and I. We would definitely stay here again.
