Very clean and great location to Tahoe

This condo is REALLY small and the "bedroom" is more like a closet and extremely uncomfortable - just foam on a wood platform. There was no ice or ice cube trays. There was too much furniture crammed in the downstairs.
Manager response:
Melanie, we're sorry to hear that the condo was smaller than anticipated. We find our listing to represent the condo accurately, and we are always willing to clarify any details before booking to ensure that our guests can make informed booking decisions. We hope to have another opportunity to host you!

The cabin was good but we did not receive services for trash and changing the towels during our 5 days of stay.
Manager response:
We are so glad that you enjoyed your visit, Mojgan. We apologize for any confusion but we do not change towels or remove trash during guests' visits. There are onsite dumpsters for trash and washers for towel refreshing. We hope to host you again soon.

This studio with a loft unit is perfect for a couple. It does have a small reading room, under the stairs, that could work for a child as well, but I think this is the sweet spot for a couple.

The other units are very quiet. Quiet enough that you question whether anyone else is there with you. The hot tub and recreation area (pool table, hockey table, TV) are both very close to the unit just outside of it. It also has a dry hot sauna that you can use as well. Internet speeds were sufficient for remote work. There is a Safeway and public lake access area down the road. Vacasa staff are very responsive via text or app messages.

The bad was that there was no TV readily available. There is one in a closet, but it did not have a stand and I did not feel comfortable setting it up (besides there isn't a decent place to put it either). We also experienced a power outage of a few hours on Friday night which forced us to figure something out in the meantime. However, the main heat source remained on even when the power was out.

Bring your laptops, iPads, and tablets to mitigate not having a TV and you'll have a decent time while staying here. Also, bring a tea kettle if you are into that, because the unit does not have that either.

We loved the location and the home was clean. It did however not supply enough toilet paper, or towels for our week long stay.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Tracy, we are happy to hear your party had a wonderful time! We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced due to the supplies. We do stock the homes with an initial supply of items, such as paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, and laundry pods if applicable. If these items run out during your stay, we kindly ask guests to replenish based on their needs. We hope to have another opportunity to host you again!

We had to reach out to the staff essentially every day of the four days we were there to have an issue addressed. Their check in process was relatively smooth using a lock box. However, there was zero instructions on how to enter the club house to use pool/hot tub/table games so we had to reach out to vacasa for that. There were zero written instructions on how to find the laundry room and access the laundry room (required a 4 digit number code to access) so we had to reach out to vacasa for that. The ceiling fan wasn’t working and there was a shudder missing that divided the first floor bedroom so we had to reach out to vacasa for that. The condo didn’t have a TV in it despite a vacasa staff member confirming via a written check list that she left for us saying that there was a working TV. This obviously was not the case to our disappointment. Overall it felt like we had to prompt Vacasa staff to do their jobs every step of the way while here we are simply trying to enjoy our vacation. Overall it was a horrendous and infuriating experience when we paid the most per night for this condo compared to 3 other hotels in the area. Needless to say, we all will be avoiding vacasa properties like the plague in the future after this appalling experience.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Helen. We are very sorry for the disappointment in our home and staff. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us so that our local staff could address the concerns that you experienced during your stay. Our local and remote staff did make numerous attempts to call and address the issues that you experienced with the TV, ceiling fan, and access codes and we are sorry that we were unable to reach you. We hope to have the chance to better impress you in the future.

Convenient location, near King's Beach. Backs right onto a series of trails (cross country ski in winter). Clean condo with a small balcony, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen. A bit warm in summer.

I rent this property for a few days during this summer. Even though it can fit 5 people, it can only comfortably fit four people (two adults and two teens). The place is very clean and the kitchen has most of what could be needed for a short stay. The ceiling fan / light was not working when I arrived, and the place was really warm. We contacted Vacasa to report the issue. They promptly replied and sent someone in. Even though the person could not fix the issue right away, he offered to bring another portable fan, which was enough to help us couple with the current heat wave in the region. The location of the property is also very good. The main street of King's Beach is just a 4-minute drive away. The beach itself is also very nice and it was not too crowded. There are several options for food, ice cream, and a very good Safeway store around. Overall, my experience was very good.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place itself was great and sizable. The location was perfect for snowboarding at Northstar.
