Delightful Northstar Condo is comfortable for the whole family or group of friends and is ready to be your home base to experience a truly wonderful and memorable getaway! This three-story condo offers nothing but comfort, relaxation, and all the amenities you and your group could need to relax and forget about everything. The main living space is located on the second floor where an open floor plan combines the kitchen, dining area, and living room together. Throw some logs into the wood-burning fireplace and listen to the fire crackle as the group unwinds in the living area snuggled up on the comfortable sofas. When it's mealtime, the fully-equipped kitchen has you all covered with its modern appliances and utensils. If you'd like to step up your cooking game a bit more, the gas grill available in the balcony has your back. By booking this mountain getaway, you'll be granted access to a series of resort-like, shared amenities that include tennis and basketball courts, pool and Ping-Pong tables, a hot tub, sauna, heated outdoor pool, and even a children's pool! Northstar provides a shared golf cart in case you'd like to move around freely.

No matter the season of your trip, you'll find a plethora of summer and winter outdoor/indoor activities to choose from. Northstar California Resort boasts endless winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and ice skating. However, if you visit during warmer months, you'll come across about 100 miles of trails for biking and hiking and 3,000 acres. There's public beach access in Kings Beach at Lake Tahoe, which is seven and a half miles away. This beach is one of the largest in the area and is perfect for families. Here you can swim, sunbathe, and go on a fun boating adventure. There's also a picnic area and a playground.

The condo is close to the village and rec. center.
There was plenty of room for our family of four.
Would like a later checkout time though, 10 am was rather early and we felt very rushed.

All the previous comments are fairly accurate with regard to the property. Loaded with all kitchen ware items you will need. We left some unopened products for the next guess, I have found it to be good practice. Very nice laundry machines. Clean carpets and sheets. Fantastic heating system maybe too good. We didn't experience smoke from the fire place, but I suspect the flue may have been partially closed. Make sure to place the visitor pass in your car. While we were the only car in the parking lot at the time, we witnessed our vehicle being check for the pass being displayed....go figure! We think a little more dusting of some of the top surfaces is needed and a little updated kitchen cabinetry. Overall having used many different places all around the world, I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

We loved the location, proximity to the Village with swimming and a gym. We loved the response of the Vacasa staff when we had n issue. We had wished we had air-conditioning, as the temps were over 80, and we could not open windows because of the smoke. And a doorknob was missing from the inside side of the bedroom downstairs, and our granddaughter got trapped--literally could not get out of the room from the inside--probably invisible to maintenance staff that do not close the door when they are there so could not see the knob was gone. Also, we could not find where to dispose of the garbage. And the downstairs TV would not work. We had a wonderful time otherwise.

This condo is cozy, comfy, and conveniently located. It has great lighting and space. It is outfitted with all the kitchen utensils and tools to make cooking easy. I appreciated that it felt very clean--especially during the pandemic.
My one recommendation would be to have a house "guidebook" that had instructions for the use of things in the home (like the fireplace, for example) and dining options and activities in the region that are endorsed by the owners. Many of the VRBO/AIRBNB places I have stayed provide kitchen basics like sugar, coffee, tea, etc...Not sure if these are currently limited because of COVID. Not a deal breaker, but it is an added bonus to have those.
Overall, this place is still great and I would come again.
