This hidden gem is at the end of a cul-de-sac. It’s very unassuming from the outside. But when you get in and walk around, you start to notice all of the little subtleties that land to a fabulous place to stay. From the radiant heat, A nice light and bright space with wonderful windows, amenities regarding the bathrooms and the kitchen, The most comfortable beds, and of course, having a key access to go down to the lake shore. And being in the culinary profession myself, I was very impressed with the Selection of cookbooks.

The location was perfect. Close to Tahoe city and easy to get to town. Private beach access was a plus for lazy afternoon lounging. The house is gorgeous and comfortable.

The cottage has been recently renovated and the finishes are lovely. It feels more spacious than it looks from the outside. It’s well appointed with everything we needed and on-site parking was provided. Two negatives: all 4 beds we used were the worst mattresses we’ve ever encountered in a rental home. Also, in spite of the pic, there is no water access. The closest beach is the public beach almost a mile down the road. And the house is literally in the middle of a neighborhood so there isn’t even a lake view.
Manager response:
Hi Laura, thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are sorry for any misunderstanding. The listing information and photos are correct. The end photos of the slideshow show the area, not a view from the home. The description also does not note a lake view and has directions to the lake so guests are aware. We hope you'll visit again soon.
