Hale Kamaole is directly across South Kihei Road from Kamaole Beach Park III, a beloved South Maui beach for sand play, shoreline walks, and late-day sunsets. The neighboring Kamaole parks give families several beach options close together, while nearby South Kihei Road brings coffee, casual meals, groceries, and shave ice within reach. Drive a little farther south for Wailea's beach coves and coastal paths, or stay close and make a simple evening of the sand and sunset. This is South Kihei at its easiest: beach time close by and everyday vacation essentials nearby.

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.
