This quaint, 37-acre private community is surrounded by the Bay on three sides, giving you tranquil scenery throughout the day and breathtaking views at Sunset. A shoreline walking path encircles the island, taking you past Sunset Island's private bayfront beaches, a fishing pier, a marina, the community clubhouse, a restaurant, and indoor and outdoor pools. You'll have beautiful views of wetlands and the Ocean City skyline. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of the snack bar and general store, where you can buy coffee, fine wines, and various necessities. Things to Know

  • Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
  • Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
  • All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
  • A non-refundable community registration fee that is payable by Visa, Mastercard, or Discover is due upon arrival at Sunset Island. The registration fees are as follows:
    Winter (January 1, 2024 - April 30, 2024 and October 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024) = $100.
    Spring (May 1, 2024- May 25, 2024= $150.
    Summer (Sunday BEFORE Memorial Day, May 26, 2024 to Saturday AFTER Labor Day, September 7, 2024) = $200.
    Fall (September 8, 2024, September 30, 2024)) = $150.
    Additional passes may be available at the community office for $70 per pass per week. Additional registration fee is charged by Sunset Island for select events. Special event surcharge and dates are subject to change without notice.
  • For any stays booked less than 48 hours in advance from May 1 – September 30 will have an additional $25 charge.
  • Occupancy limits are strictly enforced by the community.
  • This unit features access to a private bayside beach, clubhouse, fitness center, library, locker rooms, sauna and indoor pool, outdoor pool, baby wading pool, walking trails, and a crabbing/fishing pier.
  • Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.
  • No pets are allowed at this vacation rental.
  • Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.
  • Guest entry instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.
