We loved the beautiful views and the private calm lake, the cabin is cozy and cute. The main bathroom is really lovely. The only critique is that my tall husband and sons hit their heads on the “ice cube” lights in the bathroom every time they used it. There were lots of mosquitoes but that was remedied by some off spray. The kayaks and canoe are were enjoyed by all of us. My husband caught several small and large mouth bass while we were on the canoe during our morning paddle around the lake. The first night there the outdoor trash cans were knocked over and torn apart, we assume it was a hungry bear, but we never saw him. I had a great time and would definitely book again!

Exactly what we were looking for. We really enjoyed being deep in the woods, yet within a ~25min drive from lots of good restaurants, bars, and shops.

The property was smaller than expected. Comfortable furniture. Quite secluded. One small shelving unit available for all pantry items. All cupboards were filled with owners items. Not cleaned as expected. Layout of deck was not optimal for lake access from main floor. Enjoyed the area, but will look for other lodging when in the area again.

The comfortable cabin is located on a serene and almost private lake. Very quiet! We saw (and heard) lots of birds and heard fish jumping in the lake. The hammock was nice as was the backyard firepit. The deck was amazing with nice views of the lake. The spa bathroom and well-organized kitchen were easy to use. The beds were comfy with warm blankets. Will definitely be back!

Was a great place very quite and just a all around nice place.

We had a very nice stay here. Really beautiful and quiet; the lake is crystal clear for swimming and the fish were abundant! We caught 24 bluegill, sunfish and bass total. The paddleboat was good for the kids and the canoe was like brand new. There really was so much to do right on the property, with a telescope, fishing gear, books, games and WiFi for logging into streaming services (although the internet was very spotty but it wasn't a huge deal). The cabin itself is really more of a "home" and is very well maintained. All the kitchen gear you would need is provided. Tons of room and two beautiful bathrooms- the jacuzzi tub was absolutely perfect (just be aware that you don't want to fill the tub and use the shower at the same time for pressure and hot water availability). The only issues we had were that there are a few rusty nails on the dock that need to be dealt with and there's no ladder, and the ceiling fan in the "master" bedroom needs to be serviced because it is extremely noisy. Also felt like the $200 cleaning fee that gets assessed is quite steep, maybe they could do a refundable deposit instead for families like us who respect the space and pick up after themselves? Other than that, the beds were super comfortable and had no other issues other than dealing with the northwoods bugs, which are to be expected. :)

Lakeview North was just the escape we were looking for! The cabin is quite spacious between both floors. It is rustic in the living areas with beautiful décor, and has a completely updated main bathroom with a double vanity, HUGE soaker tub with a tv above it, and heated towel racks. The hosts though of everything. The cabin was completely furnished with everything you could imagine wanting on a Northwoods family getaway; board games, books, fishing poles, bug spray, BBQ grill, etc... Having on site laundry was great also. (It's nice going home from vacation with all clean cloths). There is TV and WIFI but for the most part we ignored that luxury. The property is great. We sat out on the large deck and enjoyed breakfast daily. We couldn't use the fire pit because of a "no burn ban" at the time, but we sat and relaxed with a cold beverage, staring up at the stars at night. The clear sky's and no light pollution made for spectacular star gazing. We even drove to a clearing up the road for a better view of the entire sky. Minette Lake was amazing. We fished off the dock daily catching many bluegill, huge crappie and decent sized largemouth bass, with my wife catching the biggest fish! We took a relaxing canoe ride across the clear water lake, in the canoe they have on site, and hiked the small trail to the south of the property. The quietness of the property was amazing. You can hear the birds wings as the cut through the air while fly over the lake. There is a BEAUTIFUL Bald Eagle nesting in one of the trees in front of the cabin. We enjoyed watching it hunt the lake while we were fishing, and hearing it KAW during the day. There are neighbors but we rarely saw or heard them. I had a very nice conversation with Frank, the neighbor to the north, We did a bit of gambling at the Lake of the Torches casino and it was nice that they donated to us for a change. :) The Northwoods have much to offer if you choose, but the cabin is nice enough to spend your entire without ever leaving the property. We absolutely LOVED the time we spent here and are already looking forward to booking this property again in the fall!
