The interior is incredibly atmospheric, with wood paneling adorning the walls and a living space that brings together the living room, the kitchen, and the dining room. Before a day of adventure, you can flip pancakes on the stove in the kitchen, sip your morning coffee at the two-person breakfast bar, and sit down to eat with your loved ones at the dining table for four or outside on the deck.

This lakefront cabin is located 200 feet above the lake, in a peaceful, private area on the southwestern shores of Vallecito Lake, with much of the surrounding land part of San Juan National Forest and the Weminuche Wilderness. It's a great spot for mountain biking, ATVing, and hiking, whether you choose one of the trails tracing the lakeshore or the Lake Eileen, Vallecito, or Pine River Trail within a few miles' drive. You'll also be less than a mile from the Vallecito Marina, where you can rent canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, pontoon boats, fishing boats, and fishing gear.
