Accommodating up to 14 guests, this versatile rental offers the option to rent four separate living spaces together or each one separately. And there are two private hot springs, perfect for creating magical nights under the stars.

Located across the Crystal River from the Filoha Meadows Natural Reserve, this property is two miles north of Redstone proper and 14 miles from Marble. The views are so breathtaking that Disney producers were inspired to film the movie “Tall Tales” on the property. Please note that driving to this area in the winter may require four-wheel drive or chains. And be sure to stock up on groceries and gas in Carbondale 13 miles away before heading to the cabins.

The property is a collection of four cabins. Three Sisters Peak Cabin stands on its own, where as Elephant Mountain Cabin and Mt. Sopris Cabin are portions of the same building. Up to six more guests can enjoy a stay at Chair Mountain Cabin at Filoha Meadows, bringing the total up to 20. Please note that no pets or smoking is allowed anywhere on the property.

The interiors are open and bright with natural light and each is furnished for comfort. While you won't find a TV here, there is WiFi access, so bring your devices if it's important for you to stay plugged in. You may find that you're so drawn to the great outdoors, though, you won't need the internet at all.

Relax or socialize in the living areas featuring wood frame furnishings. Take a cold beverage outside, settle into a chair, and soak up the sun while you listen to the river rush by.

Share meals with your guests at the bench-style seating in the dining areas, adjacent to sliding glass doors that lead to the deck. The kitchenettes have full-size refrigerators, microwaves, coffeemakers, and hot plates, so you'll still be able to prepare basic meals and snacks (please note there are no full-size ovens/stoves). Use the gas grill to cook and dine outside.

When all are rented together there's a maximum occupancy of 14 with three queen beds, two twins, two futon-style cots, and one sofabed.

Spend your days doing what you love. Fly fish and kayak on a private stretch of the Crystal River. Drive a few miles to Penny Hot Springs for a rustic natural experience or Avalanche Hot Springs for more of a spa experience. And keep an eye out for elk, deer, and birds. Hang out at home in one of the two private tiled hot springs along the river and bask in the sun or gaze at the stars.

In the winter, do some Nordic or backcountry skiing, and if you want to venture out farther, travel 35 miles to Sunlight Ski Area. The Aspen/Snowmass ski areas are about 46 miles away. And on those nights when you want to relax and treat yourself, head to Marble's Slow Groov'n BBQ restaurant, said to be the best BBQ around.
