**Lake Lure is scheduled to reopen for full operations on May 1st, 2026 with the return of boating, swimming and fishing. Be sure to reserve your spot before dates are taken. We look forward to your visit and your continued support to the local community.**

Appropriately named, Js Treehouse offers a tranquil retreat amid the trees. Highlights of this condo include three private balconies, allowing you to retreat and take in the fresh, surrounding mountain air. You’ll also have access to the Rumbling Bald Resort amenities like a private white sand beach as well as the indoor/outdoor pools and fitness center. So whether you’re playing a round on the two golf courses, serving at the tennis court, or unwinding at the wellness center spa, there are plenty of activities for all to enjoy.

Inside, you’ll find comfortable furnishings and quaint decor. Watch shows in the main living area, relax by the electric fireplace or play foosball in the adjacent living space. The well-equipped kitchen has a full suite of appliances and bar seating, and there’s also a dining room perfect for gathering together. Feel free to add charred favorites to the menu, while smaller parties can dine alfresco on the adjacent balcony.

Rumbling Bald Resort amenities include a heated pool (open year round) 2 outdoor pools and lazy river (open Memorial Day to Labor Day) hot tub, spa and wellness center, mini golf, basketball and tennis courts, corn hole, horse shoes, lawn games, playground. 2 world class golf courses (Apple Valley and Bald Mountain). 3 Dining options (Legends on the Lake, The Gardens, Bears Cup Cafe, Eagles Nest).

Things to Know

  • Lake Lure is a man made lake that is drawn down 12 feet each winter season for maintenance. This will impact shorelines. Water will be back up to normal levels in mid April. Please be sure to reach out directly to organizations/businesses for current hours of operation.
  • Lake Lure notice: Pontoon boats and non-motorized vessels may be no longer than 28 feet. All other boats, such as ski boats, fishing boats, deck boats, etc., may be no longer than 21 feet.
  • Kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and pontoon boats can be rented from a local service from Memorial Week-Thanksgiving.
  • There may be times of little or slow WiFi service as a result of the weather.

  • Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
  • Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
  • All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  • No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
  • This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.
  • All Vacasa properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

    • RUMBLING BALD GUEST PASSES

  • This property is not located within the Rumbling Bald gated area, but has full access to all Rumbling Bald amenities.
  • -Guest Passes can be picked up daily between 8:30am and 7:30pm at the Guest Services Desk in the lobby of Legends on the Lake.
  • The name listed on the reservation must be present to collect the passes.
  • It is preferred that reservations are submitted at least 5 days prior to arrival. Any last-minute requests will likely result in delays receiving your guest passes.
  • Your reservation will need to include the number of guests 12 and over so that Rumbling Bald will provide the correct number of passes.
  • Passes will need to be picked up during business hours from Rumbling Bald guest services.
  • There is a $50 fee if any passes need replaced.
    • No pets are allowed at this vacation rental.
    • Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
    • Guest entry instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.
