This was the perfect place for my husband and me to get away for a few days. We loved sitting out on the balcony (I chose this unit for the lounge chairs) enjoying the ocean view.

For the off season rates we paid it was decent. I would be upset if I paid the in season rates and had it though. Half the outlets didn't work, the sink leaked all over, the shower wouldn't drain, and the condo was overall just dirty nothing gross just should have been upkept better. Facility was very nice and staff from plantation palms and vacasa had customer service second to none. I like the service I'd just recommend another condo.

Literally everything in this unit is outdated. There are 2 microwaves are we are still unsure why. The one on the counter didn’t even cook a bowl of easy Mac correctly, so? There is just a regular type coffee maker in the room. I only mention that because I emailed and inquired about this before my stay so I would know whether to bring coffee filters and coffee or k cups…. No one ever responded. A few things the room did not have… scissors and small size spoons. There were no sheets for the pull out couch but there were about 12 pillowcases and a very large roach in the closet. When we arrived, the code would not open the door. I had to call and have the code reset. A quick fix but still an inconvenience with 2 small children and a cart full of groceries. Probably could have been prevented with an updated keypad. The tv in the master bedroom is the size of a laptop screen.

I’ll end my review with positives of the resort. The outdoor pools and hot tub were great! The island grill was good and so convenient.

In summary, it was just ok for a short trip (3 nights). I doubt we would stay in this unit again and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for a long stay.

Great location out of the way of crowds. Great view from the balcony. Peaceful. Beautiful white sand with chair rentals available. The unit is close to the elevator (not noisy though) and parking was never a hassle. The pools are supposedly heated, but we’re way too cold to swim in. The complex is definitely older and could use updating, same for the unit. There were stains on the couch, paint peeling off the interior doors, and the balcony door wouldn’t lock (maintenance came and got it working and said he’d be back to replace after we checked out). Take your own blankets, as there aren’t any in the unit. There is also not a pod-coffee maker or hair dryer, which I thought were pretty standard these days (necessities in my book). There aren’t smarTVs either. The remotes don’t work well—guessing they need new batteries. All in all, I would probably book at this complex again, but not this unit due to updates and maintenance needing to be done and the lack of amenities the unit actually had.

The unit was clean and nicely decorated. However, there were somethings missing that could make the stay better. There are no mats or rugs coming into the unit or from the balcony. It made a difference with how much sand we tracked in. There were no measuring cups, if you wanted to cook or bake. Also, there were no extra trash bags left in the can, so after the first one we had to use grocery bags. Other than these minor things, the unit was good.

The room itself is a nice layout with great access to the beach and views.
Now to everything else.
1. It was just dirty. Stains on the fridge and microwave, I’ll fitting sheets, and generally not in good shape.
2. Amenities. Despite the listing there is no access to a fitness center and the indoor pool is off limits. You have to be in a different building for those.
3. We were led to believe the room and resort were non smoking. Absolutely not true. Smoking is rampant everywhere. On the balconies, on the pathways, in the swings, on the pool deck, everywhere. Rivaled Vegas for some of the worst we’ve ever experienced.
4. Staff. There is no on on site of any kind other than the two guards at the entry shack. Which means rules are not followed. People in the pool well past midnight, yelling at all hours, doors slamming everywhere. It’s like a campground with rooms instead of tents.

Given all of that and the ridiculous nightly rate we paid there is no way I’d recommend this facility to anyone. Go farther up to Orange Beach of Perdido area and avoid this nonsense.

Everything was perfect except 2 things. The door was very hard to open and the lock wouldnt disengage all the way. The next thing is the sleeper sofa was extremely dirty with old sheets on them. Other than those two things, the property was quiet, nice and beautiful. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
