The second bedroom on the main floor is a little further beyond, set just to the right of the kitchen past the living room. This room features a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom featuring both a standalone shower and a soaking tub. If you'd rather sleep downstairs (gotta get in those Ping-Pong hours!), just head to the left past the couches. The bunk room will be on your left, all set up with age-appropriate toys for younger guests. The fourth and final room of the home lies at the end of the hall. Spacious with a forest view, this room features a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom with double sinks and a shower/tub combination. Each bedroom features a ceiling fan for extra guest comfort. This ideal home is close to the Beech Mountain Club, which offers guests access to community tennis courts, pickleball courts, golf courses, restaurants, skiing, and so much more!

I did have a good time with the people and the place we vacationed to. Although, the house we stayed in through Vacasa was not what it was cracked up to be. There were pictures of a gym that was not even existent. The tv remotes did not power on any televisions in the house. There was dirt swept under carpets and it looked as if someone hadn’t dusted in years. There were multiple door handles broken along with other broken decorations and other things. The hot tub did not work! One of the main reasons we booked this cabin. We were told by the maintenance man it had been down for 2 weeks but were never told anything about this.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Brock. We apologize that we dropped the ball, as this is not the high standard of guest satisfaction and property upkeep that we hold ourselves to. We have addressed your concerns with our local staff and they confirm maintenance concerns have been addressed. The handle for the patio door is to be ordered. We have tightened and adjusted the bathroom door handle so it locks. Unfortunately, the hot tub is out of service and we are waiting on parts to fix it. It is always our goal for our guests to be able to use everything the home has to offer. We hope that the refund that you were given has helped with some resolution for the issue you experienced. We wish to have a second chance to better impress you!

Very nice but all good!

This property was a good size home for the 10 people and two dogs we had. View is good and location is secluded and off beaten path.

The covered porch with outdoor fireplace was our favorite part of this home. You can also walk directly to a great hiking trail. It was a very comfortable and well equipped home. Note: do not plan to play tennis at Beech Mt. Club unless you transfer owner’s membership to your name. This is what we were told when we asked to play tennis.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Vicki. We're so happy that you enjoyed your stay and the covered porch. We are sorry for any issues you encountered at the club. Thank you for allowing us to host you. We hope that you'll stay again soon.

This home was a great pick for our family of 9 plus a pup! I think the outdoor space was our favorite. We watched some beautiful sunsets and even had a couple nights cool enough for the fire. The bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. The hot tub was nice and clean. There were plenty of extra pillows and other linens, even beach towels and kitchen towels. There was also a nice starter set of toiletries and dish cleaner. The washer and dryer were nice to have available! We saw deer in the neighborhood every day. There is a beautiful spot at the end of the street past the house where the creek runs through and other beautiful trials nearby. We got the club transfer membership and enjoyed golf, swimming and pickleball!
The only suggestions we have are supplying some fresh cooking utensils and improving bathtub drains which they were going to check on after our stay.

Wonderful view. Deck was the highlight of the home for sure. And the beds were super comfortable. However, the AC unit upstairs was out and it was 81 degrees our first day. They couldn't send someone out until the next day and he was unable to fix it. The hot tub had been drained and refilled (due to previous tenants) and it took so long to heat back up we were unable to use it until halfway through the 2nd day, basically as soon as it started to thunderstorm. It was one of the main reasons for booking the house and we were only able to get in between break in the weather. I know they cannot control the weather, but it was very disappointing that it took an entire day to heat back up and we were only there 2 days. The grill on the deck looks like it has never been cleaned. It was full of debris and grease, and we had planned all our meals around the grill. The bottom of it caught fire the minute you start to cook. We continually had to turn it off, blow the fire out, and then try again. We only had one trash bag the entire trip provided to us, so cleaning it for them wasn't much of an option. We still enjoyed ourselves. I'm glad it wasn't during the hottest part of the summer, or we would have been miserable.
Manager response:
Lacey, thank you for the review of your stay. We are so glad you enjoyed the view and the decks. While we encourage you to call us during your stay so that we have the opportunity to address matters at hand, we understand that our guests are simply trying to enjoy their vacation and may feel hesitant to bring forth complaints during their stay. We appreciate the opportunity to address any outlying concerns with our local team to ensure our service standards are being thoroughly met. We look forward to hosting you in the future.

Comfortable, inviting and well appointed. We particularly liked sitting on the deck with a cozy fire going in the wonderful stone fireplace!! It was bliss! The views are amazing and not far away, maybe 20 minutes, are restaurants and shops, not to mention, maybe 10 minutes to the Beech mountain resort!! We had the best time!!!
