Custom Built Dog-Friendly Home on Wallowa River w/Free WiFi, Deck & Gas Stoves

This beautiful Wallowa River frontage home is located at the resort side of Wallowa Lake making it a short trek to the trailhead or any of the activities like the Wallowa Lake Tramway, Vali's Restaurant, and so much more!

This beautiful custom-built home has plenty of living space. The large living room has beautiful tall windows overlooking the Wallowa River. The flatscreen TV is mounted at the ceiling, so while it is available to watch, you may just decide to watch the water roll by instead. The dining room has a convenient dining table and a propane fireplace with a glass door that opens onto the wrap-around deck that overlooks the Wallowa River. Just beyond the living and dining areas is a gorgeous kitchen with tile countertops and all the conveniences of home.

Go back down the hall and you'll come to the queen-size bedroom located on the main floor. Go up the stairs by the entrance to the additional two bedrooms. The queen bedroom is at the top of the stairs. Go down the hall past the second bathroom and soaking tub into the king primary bedroom. This bedroom also has a small wet bar, sitting area, and another propane stove.

The outside living of this home is focused on being located on the Wallowa River. The wrap-around deck with a variety of seating/dining options is a highlight for many repeat guests that love to watch the Wallowa River flow by.

Things to Know
No cable available
No fires or firepits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions.

Winter Rentals: We always recommend 4x4, chains or studded tires to get to our winter open houses. Some renters have better traction tires and can access the homes without them but we don't recommend it. Also, weather changes rapidly in our mountain location. We always suggest preparing for the worst. Also, many Les Schwab Tire Centers have the ability to purchase tire chains, and if you don't use them, will take them on return.

Parking Notes: 2 spots in front of the garage, 1 by the propane tank. HIGHLY recommended 4X4, chains and/or traction tires for winter driving.

You must be 21 years or older to rent this property.

We`ve stayed at Wallowa lake several times but this was the first time in this rental. We loved it. The location was great. Gorgeous well kept home with great views and the river right there to enjoy. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

I`ve stayed at a lot of cabins at Wallowa Lake over the 20 years I`ve been going there with my family. The Wallowa River Cabin #22 is definitely my new favorite. The scenery is beautiful as is the cabin and the amenities. The river directly behind the cabin with all the beautiful trees make for a wonderful experience. Loved my time there as did my family. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

The cabin was very well appointed. We had everything we could possibly need, like in our own home. Bed was comfortable, linens were good quality, everything was very clean. We loved staying there and look for opportunities to stay again. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Lovely property! The home was nice, clean, and the deck/access to the river was spectacular! A couple of items: You need to fix the dishwasher. The compartment that holds the detergent does not open and release the soap during the cycle. Also, the panel on the microwave is loose and about to fall off. Finally, not enough hand towels for the 4 adults and 2 kids. Minor stuff, but we had a great time! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
