Mountain view condo w/private gondola, shared pool, hot tub & gym!

Come play in Steamboat Resort's bountiful recreation and world-class powder on a stay at this modern two-bedroom condo. With access to community amenities, including a fitness center, a heated outdoor pool, a fitness center, a hot tub, and even a gondola that will deliver you to the base of the mountain, it has all the makings for an unforgettable mountainside vacation!

Right next door to Trailhead Lodge, a sprawling complex with resort amenities, this condo gives you plenty of options, whether your interests lie in exploring the nearby slopes or relaxing at home. You'll also be only a short drive away from tennis courts, Hollywood movies at Wildhorse Stadium Cinemas, delicious restaurants, and the City Market shopping center. Please note that this building does not have an elevator and as this rental is located on the third floor, it is not recommended for guests with mobility issues.

This third-floor condo has an inviting interior with all the home essentials to keep you comfortable on a break from the slopes. Catch a mid-day nap on either of two couches in the living area or watch a favorite show on the room's cable- and DVD-equipped television. Just beyond your doors sit a variety of Trailhead Lodge amenities, so get out and explore your surroundings!

The community amenities give you options including soothing aching muscles with a dip in the shared hot tub, swimming laps in the heated pool, or pumping some iron in the fitness center. You could also challenge your group to a fun tournament on the pool and foosball tables in the lodge's family-friendly game room.

Other amenities include a private washer/dryer, a local bus route just outside, community gas grills, and a community outdoor fireplace.

When it's time to eat, you'll have all the necessary cooking equipment for whipping up homemade meals in the full kitchen. Eat together with your group at the four-seat breakfast bar, which is also a great place to lay out snacks. Head onto the outdoor deck for al fresco dining with a wonderful view of Mt Werner.

At the end of an action-packed day, retire for restful sleep in either of two bedrooms. The master suite contains a queen-size bed while the second bedroom has two twin-size beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. The living area's sofabed adds space for the final two guests in your group so a total of six travelers can stay here. You'll also find two full bathrooms, both with combination shower/tubs.

In the morning, wake with a fresh cup of coffee from the coffeemaker or tea from the kettle, then start planning a new day of adventures. You'll certainly want to spend as much time as possible at Steamboat Resort, which is conveniently accessed via the lodge's private gondola that will transport you directly to the ski lifts.

But you'll also find plenty of off-mountain fun just a short drive away. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate a picturesque hike to cascading Fish Creek Falls (the trailhead begins four miles north) or a tranquil walk along the Yampa River at Yampa River Botanic Park (about two-and-a-half miles north).

You could also head about three miles northwest in Steamboat Springs' quaint downtown to learn how its early settlers lived at The Tread of Pioneers Museum, feast on a hearty bison burger washed down with a Colorado microbrew at Old Town Pub & Restaurant, or browse handblown glass works of art at Sand Gallery. Brought along kids? They'll adore a day of bumper tube fun at the Howelsen Ice Arena (three miles northwest).

Epic days on the mountain slopes and trails or relaxing with top-notch community amenities - you decide how you want to spend a memorable Colorado getaway at this great Steamboat Springs condo. Book it today!

Place is close to gondola

This unit is excellently located near the Wildhorse Gondola, thus giving easy access to Gondola Square without taking shuttles. Plenty of room, mountain views, fully functional & with access to the pool and hot tube at Wildhorse this is a great place to stay.

This condo is in dire need of an update. The furniture is uncomfortable, the sheets and mattresses are very low quality, the pillows are dirty. The appliances are noisy. We had several maintenance issues that took 3 days to resolve. Having access to the gondola and the amenities at the Trailhead Lodge is the only positive feedback I can give.
Manager response:
Hello Jean, We apologize that we dropped the ball when it comes to the high-level guest satisfaction that we hold ourselves too. The furniture and linens are bought by the owner at their comfort, so we do apologize that you found them uncomfortable. We do hope you will give us another chance to impress you in the future.

This condo was a short walk away from the gondola that takes you to the base. We had a small child and it was a great condo that accommodated our family and gave us easy access to the mountain. We had a fun filled trip!

Well stocked facility, great view of the mountain.

Location for skiing was phenomenal. The ease of the Wildhorse Gondola to take us the base was perfect - a quick 3 minute walk! Condo was very comfortable, clean, well-stocked. The price was right, too. We will return for sure.

Nice condo well situated near the Wild Horse gondola - with very convenient access to Gondola Square. Spacious, comfortable, well cared for; met all of our expectations plus access to all Wild Horse amenities. Nice place to stay.

It is a good location and loved being able to use the recreational facilities, hot tub and the pool at the Wildhorse. We are a family of 4 and it was ok for sleeping but tight to hang out in. If you are in Steamboat for an active vacation and don't need to spend a lot of time in the condo and don't want to pay a lot, then this could be a good place for you.
