Rustic Suite in the Heart of Northstar - Easy Access to Lifts & Hiking

This comfortable studio condo provides cozy lodging for up to four guests in the heart of Northstar! Perched right on the main walk in the Village at Northstar, you won't find a more convenient location at a better price; best of all, the studio offers all the comforts of home, from cable TV to Internet access to a nicely equipped kitchenette.

The studio-style condo has two comfortable queen beds, making it perfect for a small family getaway or two couples traveling together. Walk to the ski lifts, or to the movie theater just down the street. The Village's ice-skating rink is steps away, along with world-class shopping and dining. The nearby NPOA Recreation Center offers year-round swimming pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, and workout facilities (the guest passes provided in the condo allows you access to all of these amenities for just $2/day). You will also enjoy one private parking spot in the lot adjacent to the building - where others have to pay valet rates!

While you're surrounded by amazing dining options, the condo has a nicely stocked kitchenette so you can prepare light meals and snacks. You'll find a coffeemaker, mini-fridge, and microwave, along with wine glasses and a corkscrew so you can linger over a long conversation and bottle of wine in the evening. Just across the street is a gourmet deli and taqueria, so you can easily grab a quick dinner to enjoy in the comfort of your condo after a long day's explorations.

There is one full bath as well, and a cable TV with DVD player. Enjoy the views of the slopes and mountains above right from your window, or step out onto your Village-view patio to soak up the sights along with the fresh mountain air.

Skiing couldn't be more convenient, and in the summer Northstar features downhill mountain biking from the gondola as well. Northstar's golf course uniquely offers a 'mountain nine' and a 'valley nine' to challenge your game. Truckee is just two miles away, and Kings Beach/Lake Tahoe is just six miles. The whole area is served by public buses that connect to Northstar less than a block from the condos. One private parking spot for the condo is in the closest lot at Northstar.

Treat yourself to a fabulous mountain vacation at premier North Lake Tahoe lodging without breaking the bank!

Everything in one package ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’•
Jon R. Mar 2022
Nothing special, just a great place with beds, a fridge and basic amenities. Everything else you need is out the front door in the village or on the mountains. Had a blast with the kid then had a short walk to a safe comfy place to sleep.
Suzanne K. Feb 2022
I loved the location in the village. It had a parking spot that came with the unit, but didn't need to drive. Also could use the hot tubs at the Rec center. Beds were comfy, and kitchenette was all we needed.
Kathy G. Jul 2021
This location is out dated and worn down.
MORRIS L. Jun 2021
nothing whole room is dirty hair everywhere mold on shower roof absolutely disgusting donโ€™t book waste of money the worst hotel room Iโ€™ve slept in
Manager response:
Morris - Thank you for your comments. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay. Our housekeeping staff has addressed the condition of the ceiling, cabinet doors, and the drawer face under the sink. All other items are being reviewed and taken care of as needed. We apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced. We hope to have an opportunity to host and impress you in the future.
Gustavo G. Apr 2021
The place was functional, check in until 4 PM wasn't ideal but dropped our luggage without issues (that's the why of the 4 stars). Might be a little bit over price? I'd remove the kitchen or one bed, it's super crowed.
Manager response:
Hi, Gustavo! Thank you for staying with us! We're happy to hear that overall you enjoyed your visit. We apologize for any inconvenience experienced due to the check-in time. We are allowing our housekeeping staff ample time to clean and disinfect the homes in between guests. Cleanliness is very important to us at Vacasa, especially during these unprecedented times.โ€จ We will pass your comments to the local manager for review. We hope to host you again soon!
MAHER K. Nov 2020
Unit is centrally located in Incline village, overlooking shops and restaurants. The inside of unit could use some updating. There was mold on ceiling above shower which is a big health hazzard.
Checking in and out was very easy using keypad on lock.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Maher. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the convenient location of this home. We confirm the ceiling above the shower has been deep cleaned and the home has been tested for mold. No mold was found on the test after the cleaning. We look forward to hosting you again!
Kelly J. Sep 2020
Clean comfortable and cozy right in the heart of Northstar
Melissa L. Feb 2020
Perfect location, clean and convenient! Will certainly book again.
Amit V. Feb 2020
This was great for a ski trip - very close to the ski slopes with parking nearby. It's exactly as it looks in the pictures. The mini-fridge, microwave and toaster are also great if you want to bring some simple breakfast with you. All in all, would be happy to rent this again for a ski trip.
Robert R. Dec 2019
Nice place for price. Hair Drying didn't work and wished it had a washing machine/dishwasher. I would book again.
Manager response:
Robert, we are happy to hear that you had a nice stay over Christmas! Always feel free to contact us if any amenities offered fall short or are in need of attention. We look forward to hosting you next time! Thank you.

Location to wine and food festival
Amanda m. Aug 2019
Location is the best!
Terrence S. Aug 2019
The location was fabulous! The parking pass could be used in any green rental space. Our assigned space was under construction. The unit was as pictured. It was very clean. We had a little difficulty with the air conditioning control. There was a $5 charge per person per day to use the recreation center. We would come back. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

The Northstar Original Village One room, the Norhstar Village Resort, the Tahoe Trail 100 MTB rave, and the whole Lake Tahoe area.
Beth L. Feb 2019
My husband and I wanted something convenient so that we didn't have to drive to ski. This was close to everything in Northstar Village, cozy, warm, and quiet.
Ryan L. Jan 2019
it was right in the heart of NorthStar Village, and came with passes to the rec center so you could hot tub / work out too. Tahoe is a busy area so being able to walk to the lifts each day makes it super easy
Kim S. Jan 2019
Great location and comfortable place.
Thao N. Dec 2018
Dated interior but the location makes up for it. Conveniently located in the Village (one building away from ice skating rink and across from Copperlane marke). Unit is peaceful and quiet, with the action only steps away. Best of all and a pleasant surprise, the assigned parking space is directly across from the EV/Tesla chargers, which made it easy to monitor availability and quickly move between parking space and charging spots.
Erik S. Sep 2018
Location was great...amenities were pretty good too.
Donna E. Aug 2018
Hotel style room right on the premises of the Village at Northstar. Loved how close we were to the lifts and all the stores. It was also super convenient that the little market/store was just down from our room! Would recommend if you want to be close to everything at Northstar!
Harold F R. May 2018
The location is great. Cost of the unit was reasonably priced and every effort was made to make sure our time there was enjoyable. Very easy check in and check out.
Morey g. Mar 2018
Great location in the Northstar village for money! A parking space included. Easy load and unload in the garage with access to the elevator. Not fancy but clean and great for a few days at Northstar.
Jawann S. Mar 2018
Important note: if you stay for one night and are planning to ski the following day, you will likely have to move your car as the parking pass must be returned upon checkout. Pretty much just a bedroom and bathroom, but the location and value canโ€™t be beat. Would stay again.
Emily W. Feb 2018
The property location was great. The unit itself was very dated, cramped and not like the pictures promoted. The beds were unkempt and the sheets had an awful, used smell to them (or may have been the comforter or pillows). Luckily we had two beds and ended up sharing, because the other was not in condition to be used.
Manager response:
We are sorry to see this guest was dissatisfied with some aspects of their stay. The mattresses were replaced last month, and we are hoping to have the bedding upgraded in the near future. The sheets are changed between each stay, and we apologize for any odors the guest experienced with them and wish they had contacted us regarding the matter.
Carol W. Nov 2017
Staying in Northstar Village is great! Such a beautiful environment and Truckee has great places for food and drinks. The room itself is satisfactory. I was there on business and it served the purpose of convenience.
Harold B. Sep 2017
For what we did this weekend resort was very adequate. Never had the chance to use more of resort facilities which would have been nice given what was offered. Would certainly go back especially during snow season.
Ken F. Aug 2017
Location is great. Reserved parking is huge. This unit is fine for two or three people. Four is pushing it. Decor is classic 1984. Not bad, but an interesting time warp.
Jodi N. Apr 2017
nothing fancy but great location and price. you do hear walking and plumbing, though, so bring your ear plugs!
Julie L. Mar 2017
I love being right in the village. The studio had everything we needed for our mini getaway. I loved having a closet space for our ski gear and all the extra hooks to hang our ski clothes was appreciated. I'm already looking at staying there again soon. It was nice to receive emails confirming our stay and very detailed so there wrre no surprises when we arrived. I do wish they would list how much the VRBO fees was going to be before you booked the room. You don't know until you get the bill on your credit card. My fee was 50.00.
Pete W. Mar 2017
This unit is located right next to the village and is in a great location to ski off the mountain. As far as skiing went it was PERFECT!

Its once you actually get off the mountain and in to this unit is why I am giving it a 2-Star review. First of all don't be fooled by the pictures, this place is smaller than your average Motel 6. The cable didn't work, the wi-fi was extremely poor, half the lights weren't functional and each night I was awoken at 4 A.M. in the morning to a snowplow right outside the front door that spent most the time obnoxiously backing up with the steady ring of a garbage truck in reverse.

I know that is not the owners fault of Northstar cleaning at 4 A.M. but needless to say it wasn't the "vacation" I had in mind.
Cynthia W. Mar 2017
This is a skier's crash pad, nothing more or less. Noisy in the mornings. Location is the saving grace.
Gabrielle H. Feb 2017
The room is very cramped with the existing furniture. The beds are old, very soft and the bedding is extremely dated which always raises the question of cleanliness.
There is poor airflow in the room and the wall heater is very noisy and creates a uncomfortable draft on the closer bed- nor really usable when people are in the room
Mark G. Jan 2017
Unit was clean, best used just for sleeping. Ski closet was nice. In the middle of many restaurants. Easy walk to gondola. Can't beat this place on price/location value.
Manuela S. Jan 2017
You can't being IN the village, but besides that this is really no more than a hotel room. Works only for a family.
Jim S. Oct 2016
This place needs a face lift...
Manager response:
We are sorry to see that this guest was disappointed with the cosmetics of the unit. Everything is in working order for our guests, and we hope that our guests would contact us if they needed assistance with any maintenance issues during their stay.
Chris N. Sep 2016
Awesome experience
William A. Jul 2016
Everything was good
Thomas F. Jun 2016
Location location location.
Cristina B. Apr 2016
Great spot.
Katherine C. Apr 2016
Great location but room needs renovation
Emily M. Mar 2016
Perfect location in Northstar. Unit is not fancy, but who wants to hang in the room anyways. Beds are comfortable. Shower head is a bit low.
Thomas H. Feb 2016
We were a bit confused the last day we stayed there. The instructions told us to leave by 11:00 and put the parking pass back in the room. It did not state if we could stay parked for the day of snow boarding.
Marie Grace L. Feb 2016
We'll definitely go back and stay here again.
Pauline O. Feb 2016
Would go again, but expected a bit more.
Terry H. Jan 2016
The price was good, but the location on 2nd floor was not great. Noisy people above us kept us awake in the wee hours of the morning.
June E. Sep 2015
Great location for parking and elevator, also for nearby Northstar restaurants (the ones that were open) and the rec area.
Lynn G. Aug 2015
Nice place for 2! Right in the village but no shopping, 95% of the stores are closed or ski type shops. They did have a Starbucks open, the hit of the village. No souvenir shops. You need a car to run errands, get groceries, etc. Pool $2/day. Bring washcloths, none available. No day to day cleaning bring pool towels.
Alicia S. Mar 2015
If you are looking for a simple and clean place to stay at Northstar this will fit the bill. It is a little small for a family of 4, especially with all our snow gear but we spent most of the time outside anyways. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. We did not cook there - that would have been hard since one of the beds is practically right up against the mini kitchen area but I was glad to have the mini fridge and microwave.
Robin P. Dec 2014
Literally steps from the resort gondola, easy access with skis, and very cheery staff.
Erin M. Sep 2014
This is right in the village of Northstar and didn't have to drive anywhere once we arrived. Great location and place clean. 2 queen beds and 4 adult stayed comfortably.
Brandon C. Aug 2014
It may feel like Motel 6 when you first walk in but there is a great deal more to this offer! The recreation center is HUGE for just $2 a day. Plenty for the kids and adults. You cannot find a better deal than this and enjoy a luxurious getaway for the price.
Christine C. Apr 2014
Very comfortable room!
Larry . Apr 2014
Nice to be so close to all the attractions of the village. The place is in good shape overall!
Gustavo R. Feb 2014
Right in the middle of the village of the ski resort. Several spots for dining and enjoying the winter on the mountains . I loved the seats around the fire pits, they were great for toasting marshmallows and drinking hot cocoa while watching people ice skating.

The Room had two beds and they were very comfortable. Tv with cable and several channels. The room size was ok, there is a kitchenette area with microwave, coffee maker, sync and fridge. Not a lot of space or anything fancy. But good enough to spend the days right in the middle of everything.

The room was very warm too, without the heat on the room kept a comfortable temperature inside overnight even though outside was snowing and around 28F.
Ryeland G. Sep 2013
Its a place to crash. If you're looking for a inexpensive place to stay while you do your activities its very good for a couple, maybe family of four.
