The condo was nice, great view, but lost 40 minutes at check-in because VACASA emailed us the wrong entry code. When I called, nobody seemed to know what was going on! They said to wait there (in the hot hallway) until they had someone call me back! Then the check-in email said we needed a parking permit and pool passes, neither of which were in the room. Their check-in instructions were wrong and misleading, I would not book through them again. As for the condo, it was nice, beds were okay and it was clean. The balcony is large and awesome, over looking the bay. The kitchen is not at all well equipped, I could not cook there, but if your planning to eat out it's fine. The supplies were extremely minimal. We almost ran out of toilet paper, so bring an extra roll and paper towels! We were supplied with less then a hotel would offer. Sorry but the little things do matter. I suggest to the owners that they get a new management company.

Could have been updated a bit more and more clean, we came across a few discrepancies when checking in.

When I first arrived at the unit, the parking passes were not where I was told they would be. After several calls to Vacasa asking where my permits were they told me to check the whole apartment. This is not acceptable. It should’ve been in one location. They told me to check the top of the refrigerator and when I did, the top of the refrigerator was at least a quarter inch of dust. The sinks and faucets were dirty. Regarding my issue with the parking passes, After my fifth call, the agent told me to go to the Vacasa office and pick up my parking pass because it was almost 5 PM. I was not expecting that.

We loved that you could see the pool and the bay from the balcony of this condo. We have been staying at Thunder Island for over 30 years and have stayed in many different rooms but this was our first time going through vacasa. We got there early and went to see if we could check in a little early, the lady told us we would have to come back at 4 per the email, no problem. We went swimming then got everyone out and changed to go check in only to be told once we got there that we didn't need to come to the vacasa office to check in? The email clearly states you have to check in at the office and the lady told me two hours prior that I had to come back? That was frustrating. The bathrooms were still pretty dirty and the floor of the balcony and table on the balcony was gross, but other that that it was fine. We did have to call as the TV was not working but it was quickly taken care of.
