Bass Lake is less than 15 miles away, where you can enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The Pines Village at the lake provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is also nearby, with shopping, restaurants, bars, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater.
Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually.
