Clean and quiet condo with lots of space. Great kitchen and bathroom plus lots of windows and ceiling fans. The views were lovely and we enjoyed the pool and ability to walk to Brennecke's beach and restaurant. There were Turtles and Sea Lions resting on the sand at nearby Poipu beach.

First time using Vacasa but it will be our last. Shower head had a large leak and was spraying water all over the bathroom making it unusable. It was not repaired until day 3 of our 5 day stay. A/C didn't work properly and could not cool the unit. Unit needs the carpet replaced and an overall thorough cleaning. Very, very disappointed in our Vacasa experience. I've used Marriott for decades and expected more. On top of the disappointed experience I used ALL of my Marriott reward points PLUS cash to stay there. So disappointed in it all.

This was a great rental. My wife and I loved the space and location, plus it was equipped with beach necessities, which were a huge help. Also, no chickens on the grounds was greatly appreciated. And on top of that, my fiancée and I were left a very thoughtful honeymoon congratulations! Great job Vacasa team!

This place was perfect for us--so nice to have that second floor lanai (two of them in fact). It is pretty central so you see people coming and going on the path, but that was nice. The view of the ocean is as depicted--and all the photos are accurate. There's a broken blind in the bedroom so it wouldn't lower all the way but we didn't want to bother calling to have it fixed. The Kahala setting seems geared toward retired adults so there are no balls allowed at the pool and kids under 14 aren't allowed in the hot tub. So not geared toward kids so much. But the peace and quiet is great, and you are able to play ball on the beautiful lawns or catch lizards, etc. This is NOT central A/C as advertised in one place. There's a portable A/C unit in the bedroom that's somewhat loud (white noise) at night but only cools the back bedroom. The overhead fans are nice in the other areas. Recommended if this is what you're looking for.
