This was a clean, cozy, very private, lovely home in the Black Hills. We would love to go back!

The house was beautiful and private, quiet and relaxing. Close to local attractions. Ideal family getaway. Only recommendation would be to have clearer instructiins on entry--the code did not work, use of checkmark only mentioned once in early information, and no instructions for locking the door--may not have been working properly. Telephone help was prompt and helpful.
Manager response:
Hi Laura, thank you for your review. We're sorry for the unexpected delay in getting you checked in due to the lock issues. We hope that after the proper code had been issued the remainder of your trip unfolded with ease. We are very sorry for dropping the ball for your stay and will forward this information to the local staff so they can review and update the lock as needed for future guests. We will be sure to follow up with the appropriate parties regarding your experience and hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon.

Perfect vacation. Great location. Great house.

Loved the house , especially the hot tub. However , some of the baby items listed in the description as being provided there were not, so that was disappointing But the house otherwise met and surpassed our expectations
Manager response:
Trudy, thank you for the review of your stay. We are so glad the home exceeded your expectations. Our apologies for any confusion with baby amenities. We look forward to hosting you in the future.

We loved our stay at Lazy Bear Lodge. We saw Deer from the amazing wraparound deck and there’s a nice spot in back to play yard games and enjoy the Hot Tub. There’s other houses up there but the trees make it feel very secluded. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. We would stay here again.
