Recent Black Hills - South Dakota guest reviews

It was very nicely laid out, lots of sleeping areas and places to hang out, fireplaces were great, comfy beds and clean.

House was fantastic. Vacasa was great to work with, we had a problem with another home and they did a great job getting us a new house to stay in. Would highly recommend.

Just outside of Deadwood, this stay provides scenic views from the comfortable patio or interior furniture. The cabin has privacy and is up off the road a bit making it exceptionally quiet. The hot tub and fire place add to the ambiance; being able to use 1 stall of the garage is an unexpected added bonus. The home included many small things that made the stay even more enjoyable: paper towels, coffee filters, coffee grinder, basic spices and condiments, etc. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. We will look for availability at the Lazy Bear Lodge for future trips.

The fun all begins with a Black Hills vacation rental. The Black Hills are an isolated mountain range extending from South Dakota to Wyoming, with the inclusion of the Badlands National Park, Mount Rushmore, and the Black Hills National Forest. Venture out to ghost towns or charming mountain towns, pan for gold at the Black Hills Mining Museum, and sightsee elk and buffalo near Custer State Park.
