*International Village Landscape and repaving project starts next Monday, July 19th. The project will take about two months to finish, all cars must be out of the loft by 8 AM. No pets are allowed at this vacation rental.
This rental is located on floor 1.
Parking notes: Vacasa Parking Pass (1) Required. There is one parking space available for the condo, which can be either in front of the condo or in an underground garage. Parking spots are first-come, first-serve and require a parking permit. There will be a parking pass in the unit for you when you arrive. A renter may only have one pass. Please be sure to place it on your dash as soon as you arrive. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner/renter expense. If your car leaks oil, do not park it on Edelweiss property. All renters must park in the garage during ski season. Absolutely no street parking during ski season or you will be towed.
The parking garage code is above. A $150 replacement fee will be charged if the pass is not left in the property upon departure. Vehicles may be parked in designated parking areas. Observe the no parking signs and reserved/disabled parking spaces. The parking of trailers is not allowed, as there is limited parking available and the parking lots are very small. There may be parking available at the River Run parking lot on 3rd Ave. in Ketchum, but it is not supervised and guests park at their own risk.

Fun little get away. Old and needs repainting for sure but very clean. We were disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not open and do not open until July 1. Information is not correct when you book

This was the first time to ski Sun Valley and I was really unsure of where to stay. I lucked out and picked right. It isn't the largest place but it works great as a place to stay while enjoying the mountain. There is a bus stop right across the road that is very convenient for trips to the main downtown area. Looking forward to coming back and staying there again. Thank you.
Philip D.Jan 2022
This place was built in the 70s and hasn't been touched except for the new mattress (as advertised) and the carpet. It was pretty small but the location can't be beat for skiing at Sun Valley. It's not exactly ski in/out...but you are directly across the street from the lifts (a few hundred feet walk). It was clean and four people barely can survive a few days together. There is no access to the ski locker (despite what the directions say). There was no parking pass, but one was delivered ASAP. There is no sauna (despite one claimed in the ad) but the hot tub and pool are nice. Overall, it's not the nicest place you can find in Sun Valley, but it's probably the best location. Some simple updates would make it MUCH nicer.
We appreciate you staying with us, Phillip. There is a ski locker available for guest use as well, as a sauna and hot tub provided by the HOA. We do wish you had called about these things so we could have assisted you. Our mainline is available 24/7. Thank you!

Awesome location and clean but Terrible value - pictures very misleading; extremely loud located over commercial garage door to parking garage serving 75+ cars. Would not recommend unit under any circumstances
Laura, We are disappointed to read that your recent experience was not satisfactory. We will continue to work with both our local staff and homeowner to make improvements to this home, and we hope you'll give us a second chance to impress you! Thank you!
Melissa L.Sep 2021
The condo was small and cramped for 4 people.
The carpets were dirty and in dire need of a deep cleaning. We didn’t walk around without shoes on which was uncomfortable. The bunk beds were built where the front hallway closet used to be and that was weird. Terrible mattress in the bedroom. Slept badly for 3 nights. Couldn’t wait to get home to get a good night sleep.
Hello Melissa,We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness concerns you encountered during your stay with us. Our team of housekeepers takes pride in their cleanliness standards, as it is a top priority service we provide for every guest prior to check-in. We are disappointed to see that this concern was not reported to us during your stay as we would have been happy to assist. We have passed your feedback along to our housekeeping staff so they are aware of your concerns. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future!

Exactly as described. Comfortable bed, nice little balcony, and easy access.
Susan M.Jun 2021
Quiet apt across from ski lift. One bedroom with queen bed, and bunk beds in the entry, so no privacy for whomever sleeps there. Must drive to find restaurants in town, at least during the off sesaon.
Scott L.Apr 2021
You can’t beat the Location, that being said the condo is a bit of a throw back, considering some of the make overs of Neighboring condos. It’s functional and covers the basics , and for me it’s works.
Angus H.Jan 2021
Happy with our stay. Great location if you want to be close to the lifts. Efficient condo that met our needs and was as advertised. Thank you.
Will R.Oct 2020
We had a wonderful time in Ketchum with the fall colors. Nice place and the staff was helpful with some questions
Samuel B.Aug 2020
Not a bad location, entire place needs updated the pool was nice
Scott W.Mar 2020
The room was spaciest and clean. Edelweiss is a throwback place, with a perfect location, great outdoor pool and hot tub!
I would stay there again for sure!
John D.Feb 2020
Closest accommodations to the ski lifts. Green ski run return is via Upper College then find Pete's run on far right befor Frenchman's chair top.
Katherine A.Feb 2020
Location across street from Warm Springs Lodge and lifts cannot be beat. Beds are comfortable. Everything else leaves much to be desired. Interior clean though carpets seem very dirty. Temperature difficult to regulate (dials on every baseboard) and floors are freezing. Not good for light sleepers as underground garage door opens below unit and is heard every time it opens and closes. Very small unit. Good place if you just want to crash and ski.
Daniel H.Feb 2020
This place is truly a skiers paradise, right across from the lifts. Clean place comfortable bed. Nice and toasty. Plenty of room for all of us.
John B.Jan 2020
This is a no frills unit directly across from the Warm Springs lifts. It also comes with underground parking, which is a major plus!
For hard core skiing this is the place

This place was a great little spot for three of us for the Thanksgiving weekend. It was a quiet weekend at the condos in general, and we had the hot tub to ourselves each time we went to it (which was twice per day!). The kitchen had all the basics that we needed. The beds and couch were comfy. The bathroom was just the right size. The additional sink and vanity were convenient. This place is not fancy nor spacious, but it is cozy and comfortable and was perfect for our needs.
Will R.Oct 2019
We had an excellent stay at the condo. It's right across from Warm Springs with a warm hot tub that faces Baldy (the pool is seasonal). I was able to start hiking a minute out my door.
The condo had a great master bed (twin beds were a little thin), and really nice TV. The cookware was sufficient for 3 adults.
We had a great experience with the local staff. Our unit was missing the parking pass & we weren't sure we needed it for shoulder season, so we called asking for clarification and the local staff arrived with 10 minutes. They were so helpful.
I recommend this place!
Patty c.Sep 2019
In the winter this location would be perfect for a skier! In the summer it was a little hot, but that is par for the course in the area.
Monica H.Mar 2019
You can't beat walking across the parking lot to get on the lift! The condo is dated and small but has everything you need to prepare your own meals and the price is awesome!!! You can fit a couple (in bdrm) and 2 more (bunk beds by entrance) no problem.
hildred f.Oct 2018
I like the size of the place. Really good for me
Lincoln B.Oct 2018
Far better than a hotel if you're staying a few days and get tired of being out on the town every night to eat. Nice kitchen and had moose outside the window.
Linda F.Aug 2018
In 95 degree heat and no AC, the baseboard heater did not shut off. The CO2 monitor began beeping starting at 2am due to low batteries. On several occasions, dogs were allowed to swim in the pool and jump across guests. A large pink flamingo float was placed in the pool, taking up 2/3 of the pool. There was no sauna, as promoted. The lodge next door is under construction, with the noise and low air quality that accommodate construction zones. This was certainly not a place to visit for a relaxing vacation.
Norman N.Apr 2018
Great location, easy access to Warm Springs. Comfortable.
Monica H.Mar 2018
You can't get any closer to the lift! It is literally across the street. Maybe 50 yards?! We used the hot tub and pool, laundry is available but coin op but kitchen has all things necessary to prepare your own meals which we did each day. Small but cozy and would rent again just for the LOCATION!
Christina O.Feb 2018
Great location, small rental condo in decent shape
THOMAS D.Feb 2018
The good, location is great, clean and easy parking. The bad: beds/pillows need an upgrade, cable only provides local channels, and kitchen only has basics (pots, pans, dishes...) need to get your own foil, plastic wrap, spices...
We appreciate receiving this feedback and will be sure to ask the owner about upgrading the pillows and beds. The cable is provided by the condo association; we apologize if it was a disappointment.
Martin U.Sep 2017
This was our first time with VACASA and it was great. We really appreciated the gift we found in the apartment after we arrived. Would strongly recommend to use VACASA!
I wasn't sure about the parking. I expected parking pass to be found in the apartment but we haven't found any. Nevertheless no problem with parking in the building during our stay.
Haase W.Aug 2017
The Edelweiss House was built in 1972, and it shows. The condos are mostly used in wintertime, which makes housekeeping outside the condo a tough job.
But - if you like skiing -the lift to Bald Mountain is just over the street.
The condo itself was clean, comfortable and good for two adult and two children.
The kitchen had everything you need, bed and bath clean and comfy, a double bunk bed for the kids.
In summertime it is quiet, do not expect this during the winter season.
If you want to go shopping for the basic needs, drive a couple of miles south to a
"normal" grocery. Groceries in town are overpriced and "Organic".
Molly W.Aug 2017
The condo was very conveniently located - easy access to recreation near the Warm Springs base, quick walk/bike/drive into town, but be aware that it is in an area that seems to attract "partiers". On Friday night of our stay, there were several loud parties going on in the area that kept us up. Plus, a couple staying in the unit above us had a huge screaming match and threw things at each other until about 3:00 am. We could hear every word of their fight; I was on the verge of calling the police. On Saturday night, there were lots of people milling around the neighborhood, but thankfully, things were a lot quieter. So, good place for easy access to recreation but not the best selection for a restful vacation!
